RAINBOW WARRIORS - Sunshine in Monte Piana from Highline Meeting on Vimeo.
Ticket to the Moon Session @ Highline Meeting Monte Piana, Italy 2015 | 2350m a.s.l.
„JUST HUNDRED YEARS AGO WINTERS UP HEAR WERE CHARACTERISED BY BOMBS, GRANADES AND LOTS OF PAIN. OUR IDEA WAS TO RE-EXPERIENCE MONTE PIANA IN FRIENDSHIP AND PEACE WITH EACH OTHER, ACCOMPANIED BY KINDHEARTED FEELINGS DURING THE DAY, AND LULLED TO SLEEP AT NIGHT BY MAGICAL SILENCE.“ Alessandro d’Emilia/Armin Holzer
The idea to sleep in a hammock on such an incredible place was born at the very first Highlinemeeting at the Monte Piana in the year 2012. The adventurous pioneers Armin Holzer, Alessandro d’Emilia and Igor Scotland were so impressed by this experience that they wanted to share it with their friends. The idea of a collective hammock gathering during the annual Highline Meeting on this special place was born. In the following years this concept developed and on September 10th 2015 this unique project took place already for the third time. After spending the night in the hammock, the three founders of this idea were joined by other athletes in a early morning hammock session. In total 26 people came together to form a colorful and especially designed rainbow in 17 hammocks. A symbol of peace and a tribute to the past. This place was chosen not only for its natural beauty but for its historical importance. This area is an open air museum to honor the memory of the 18.000 young soldiers who died here during the First World War. Its 7 km of trenches are still visitable.
Monte Piana has now become a meeting point for all young people from all over the world who want to share more than a passion, a philosophy, a way of life.
THE FOLLOWING STUNT IS PERFORMED AND DESIGNED BY A PROFESSIONAL TEAM OF ATHLETES AND RIGGERS. (–>The set up has a breaking strength of >150 kN = >15 000 kg for the main line and additionally a redundant back up. Maximum force was 32 kN = 3200 kg.

Reflections from Uyuni from Enrique Pacheco on Vimeo.
Reflections from Uyuni is a Time-lapse short film that shows the intrinsic beauty of the sea salt of Uyuni and the province of Potosí in Bolivia. The reflections produced by the water flooding in the rainy season, are the main protagonist Enrique Pacheco´s camera, who invites us to dream with impossible images from another world, where the sky meets the earth forming an infinite mirage.
The sea salt of Uyuni with over 10,000km2 is the largest in the world. It is located in the province of Potosi, Bolivia, near the Andes, at an altitude of 3.656m. The Salar of Uyuni serves as a transport route through the Altiplano of Bolivia, but tourism has an increasingly more important role in the area.

SUNDAYS from PostPanic on Vimeo.
Mischa Rozema and PostPanic Pictures' debut film project SUNDAYS completes a first step towards its Feature Film goal with the release of this ambitious proof-of-concept short. Much-anticipated and widely-supported by the international creative community (over 50K US Dollars was donated on Kickstarter alone for the live action filming part in Mexico City), SUNDAYS is directed by Mischa Rozema.
Set in Mexico City sometime in the future and starring US actor Brian Petsos and Mexican actress Sofia Sisniega, SUNDAYS is an ambitious philosophical science-fiction proof-of-concept short.
The end of the world seems like a nightmare to Ben. A memory of a past life that doesn’t belong to him. When Ben starts to remember Isabelle, the only love he’s ever known, he realises she’s missing in his life. An existential descent into confusion and the desperate need to find out the truth begins. This reality depicts a stunning, surprising and dark world. A world that is clearly not his.

Leap - Your daily commute. Redesigned. from Leap on Vimeo.
The daily commute has become a massive headache for all San Franciscans. During peak hours, it can be difficult to find a seat on public transit and private car services are expensive and increasingly unpredictable.
Leap takes the stress out of your commute; an affordable ride to work that feels more like a living room than it does a city bus. Start the day relaxed and productive instead of anxious and stressed out.

Dubai Flow Motion from Rob Whitworth on Vimeo.
My first impression of Dubai was that of super-tall buildings jutting out of the desert sand. However, after 3 months of exploration, research and filming, my lasting impression is of the eternal wonder of the desert and the importance it holds for the Emirati people.
Dubai may be home to the world’s most outrageous skyline but Dubai’s desert dunes and historical creek are where you’ll find its soul.
A special thank you to Dubai Film for making this project possible and for providing the extraordinary access which enabled me to realise this story.

This is Shanghai from Rob Whitworth on Vimeo.
In 1980 Shanghai had no skyscrapers. It now has at least 4,000 — more than twice as many as New York. ‘This is Shanghai’ explores the diversities and eccentricities of the metropolis that is Shanghai going beyond the famous skyline.
Photographer Rob Whitworth and urban identity expert JT Singh joined forces combining deep city exploration and pioneering filmmaking. ‘This is Shanghai’ is a roller coaster ride seamlessly weaving between the iconic, sparkling and mismatched buildings of the financial district travelling by boat and taxi touring Shanghai’s impressive infrastructure whilst glimpsing some of the lesser-known aspects of Shanghai life such as the lower stratum areas or the stunning graffiti of Moganshan road. And of course there is the opportunity to try some of the vast variety of street food and Shanghai’s most popular homegrown delicacy, the pan-fried pork dumplings, the shengjian bao.
Wherever you travel in Shanghai the cities skyline is always present. The looming silhouette of the almost constructed Shanghai Tower now dominates and perfectly encapsulates the new heights this city is yet to reach. Once completed, in 2014, it will be the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
To understand the city, the team carried out rigorous urban exploration. In the words of JT “we walked, walked and walked, the Jane Jacobs way”. Weibo, China’s main social media platform was used to ask local Shanghainese people to share ideas of different vantage points and what they thought were the over-riding characteristics of the city. Stealth and curiosity were required to find and gain access to rooftops and locations. It became addictive for the team discovering breath-taking vantage points of the city. There was always an adrenaline rush upon reaching the top of a different building to see the vast urban jungle of Shanghai.
Rob Whitworth (robwhitworth.co.uk/) is a creative time lapse photographer from the UK based in Asia. His previous videos, ‘Traffic in Frenetic HCMC’ and ‘Kuala Lumpur DAY-NIGHT’ have received international attention including being short listed for 7 film festivals, and have had received well over 2 million online views.
JT Singh (jtsingh.com/) has explored hundreds of emerging cities around the world and is a next generation thinker about the value and impact of 21st century cities. Having grown up in Toronto JT is now based in China. He explains:
“The over-riding reason we made this video was to creatively show the world visually how China is rising, in particular Chinese cities. Just as New York City exemplified the strengths and ambitions of emerging America in the 20th century, Shanghai, perhaps more than any old or emerging rival, will personify the power and dreams of rising Asia in the 21st century.”

A slow motion video, a sequence map with a traveling in front of 80 extras placed on 80 meters along a little road, lost in an industrial area. Filmed at 1000 frames/second with a camera (Phantom 4k) from a car driven at 50km/h, the shooting took 5 seconds for a 3'30 video: a living and dreamlike mural.
