my #darkwoke opinion is a lot of people on here really do need to hear “facts don’t care about your feelings.” vibes based politics is entirely worthless and you will fall head first into whatever slop ideology you think you’re immune to if you can’t accept that sometimes the reality of the world we live in will not perfectly align with your personal experiences or make you feel ✨valid✨ or whatever
if you can be convinced “men are an oppressed class of people, and feminism plays a dominant role in their oppression” you can and likely one day will be convinced that the white race is under attack, or heterosexuality is being threatened by queer promiscuity and sexual degeneracy
it’s possible for men to be an oppressed class in a patriarchal society in the same way it’s possible for the white race in to be under imminent threat of eradication by blacks and immigrants in a white supremacist society, exactly
Do you think patriarchy is beneficial to every men? Patriarchic societies only benefit a few patriarchs on top, making sure no other male can replace them, and ours is no different.
there is no class of man that does not benefit from patriarchy compared to women of the same class 👍🏾

i literally included trans women in my tags, if you were reading. what i'm saying is that if you're not including men in your feminism, you're subject to falling for terf ideology and rhetoric, which not only hurts trans women by definition (and also gender non-conforming lesbians and butches) but also pits queer women against large portions of the queer community and promotes the idea that they're inherently biologically lesser than men.
