Picked up developed prints from my 35mm SLR (ie. my Mum’s camera) this afternoon. After nearly a year I have a selection of photos of unparalleled awfulness. They’re not even artfully crap, they are just crap. Imagining how the picture should look then fiddling inexpertly with various dials and no tripod isn’t working. Disappointing but I’ve not devoted enough time and attention to deserve better, it’s just a shame as I’ve ended up with some nice ones by mistake before.
