i'm gonna enter ted lasso s4 still hoping for tedbecca, but expecting it not to happen. if anything, as a shipper, i'll be disappointed if they didn't try for the two considering it's the show's intentional teasing scenes of 'what if these two were together' that made audiences even more excited to see if they'll do something romantic with ted and rebecca, in addition to their already wonderful partnership. it would've been a learning experience for both of them (and the audience) if they tried, saw that it just doesn't work romantically, and talked through it to agree to stay friends, instead of never dipping their toes in it at all as if the universe stayed so firm in keeping them together, but disallowing them to communicate so deeply to explore how their friendship gives way to so much growth and trust if taken into a romantic relationship. granted above is a challenge with matthijs, but that's the thing. with the brief encounter with him, we know he's a good man. we'll find out how rebecca is in a relationship with someone she chose to stay with. will they make it? will she look for something else in this relationship despite being with a wonderful man? how is she with jelka? if matthijs and rebecca break up what will be the reason? how to cope if she's going to lose jelka? is there something missing? if they stay together, what works well that he's gonna make her happy, that she's longing to do the same for him? what's become vital that makes her commit to this one? in the end, i'd want rebecca and ted to be happy, whether that's romantically together or no, but it would be insightful to see the decisions made to get there.

mostly i look forward to ted and rebecca interacting. ted is rarely silent, and he allowed that side of him to be seen by rebecca at the stands. rebecca understood, even if it pained both of them of the decision made. in the loud and in the quiet, they see each other, so i hope this continues to shine in s4. tedbecca aside, dang it i'm excited to see the new ladies/THE PLAYERS~ the new conflicts, TANYA REYNOLDS, the struggles, missing one another, the adjustments to be made, henry interacting more with richmond, PHOEBE, roy and keeley!, deborah!, IS BARBARA coming BACK.

i'm excited to see tanya reynolds in ted lasso. i've seen her in a few films/series in the past - delicious, the decameron, the other bennet sister - all with different personalities. i think she'll nail her role in s4 just fine. she plays an unfriendly/annoying character well and makes you relate to her when she needs you too, especially if a scene carries weight. gonna be rootin'!

finished 'ride or die' with hannah waddingham and octavia spencer. i just fully recommend. had a fantastic ride and couldn't keep my eyes dry. one may wonder why for an expected action mini series, but damn it nails the story so well to really get you a feel of what the characters are going through, what they went through, and how they're coping with it.

love hannah. god. her expressive eyes. even for just a millisecond she gives a perfect response with her eyes.
