here's a Krusieslop post for the day. you know how Ralsei says attempting to equip the Snow Ring looks like a proposal?

If you get Kris to give the ring to Susie she says it smells like Noelle because it's Noelle's default equipment:

instead of reacting to the optics of Kris giving her a ring like Ralsei does.

But for the Freeze Ring, since it doesn't smell like Noelle, Susie might have also noticed the optics of it looking like Kris is proposing to her and got flustered and played it off.

this is how in line with how Susie otherwise reacts when it appears Kris is giving her a gift (thinks they stole it) (probably also how she'd actually react to them proposing to her with a ring)

and the Snow Ring dialogue not getting this reaction because it smells like Noelle is a clever (and gay) way of reserving the "heh did you steal this" dialogue for just the Freeze Ring because that makes it a case of Dramatic Irony: it was actually stolen.

Susie has undiagnosed ADHD

This was meant to be a short post but fuck it I’m gonna elaborate anyways

My reasoning mostly stems from her feeling of being a “bad kid”

At least from my own (admittedly limited) experience with undiagnosed ADHD, when someone doesn’t know that their brain just doesn’t work the way everyone else’s does and they aren’t accommodated accordingly, they can often feel like something is fundamentally wrong with them (which can often lead to lashing out)

Another thing is that even if she struggles academically (the spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in her note to Alvin come to mind), it’s clear that she’s not dumb

She just was never taught in a way that properly accommodated her (which can sometimes make you feel dumb anyways, hence the fact that she usually refuses to even try most puzzles in ch 1 until she’s absolutely forced to with no one to give directions)

In conclusion I love Susie I would die for her
