who's a final girl?

Do you mean who is the final or girl or what is a final girl?

If you mean who is then it’s really hard to tell at this point. Emma is the obvious choice, however I’d like to think that towards the end there’s a huge twist and she dies. One that no one sees coming and it’s revealed to us that she isn’t the final girl and we were wrong all along. This show has a good history of pulling the rug out from under our feet so I think they could do it justice.

However, if you mean what is a final girl then basically it’s just the girl that’s destined to be the last one standing. The one that kills the killer and ends it all.

do you know what’s kind of really god damn awesome? some people like Audrey have this air of strength and go for an edgy look; it’s how they protect themselves. and then there are some people, like Brooke, who wear lipstick and heels to protect themselves. these are guards, and that’s not always a bad thing. it makes them strong and gives them confidence when they need it most. I just think it’s sort of cool that Scream gives us both, and they don’t just write it off as a “style” or a “phase”.

okay, i got 2 theories: 1st one: emma's not the final girl. what if brooke's the real FG? i been thinking a lil bit about it while i saw that scene when she's aboutta cut her hair. FGs always have a key-scene that makes an allusion to her development as a character. brooke could b her (or at least one of'em). (+++)

(continuation) BUT she doesnt cut it, which takes us to my 2nd theory about her behavior: what if the writers are preparing her to be the next murderer? she dont cut her hair, but uses this scisor to scare branson. a sadistic side of her shows up. and on the 1st season she says shes tired of being the victim. WHAT IF

Sorry for the super super late response! I’ve been finding it difficult to be on a lot lately. I honestly really hope that Brooke is the final girl because I think it would make a really great twist. To be quite honest I’m not a huge fan of Emma so I would love that haha! And I never pieced together all that info before. I did kind of think about it when she was with Branson as it wasn’t something that she would normally do! I could see her taking on a more violent role as it goes on and the death toll rises! Nice one! :)

So us in the Scream Chat are throwing about some theories,and a few of us just came up with one.

Mayor Maddox hired Kieran’s Aunt to attack Branson. Not kill him, just attack/maim. Make sure that he stays away from Brooke. “Keep your hands off.” And it would get blamed on the killer if she dressed like it.

Because Jake was suppose to offer him money to leave town the night he died. @ackerphan

do you guys think it’s possible that they might be giving kieran billy’s role this season? if you’re a fan of the original scream movie’s then you’d know what i’m talking about. i ask this because they have a lot of the same personality type, especially this season and something that’s really got me questioning is emma’s dream where brendon james mask comes up behind kieran and ‘kills’ him while they’re in bed was a total parallel to the scene ‘ghost face’ comes up behind billy and ‘kills’ him while they’re in bed. i mean they gave Piper Roman’s role last season so it wouldn’t surprise me but this just lead’s me further to believe that kieran might be the killer.

I was saying that in my Kieran theory! Yes! And the parallel with the “death” was something I didn’t even think about!

I think it’s shifty that he seems to have no scenes on his own. It’s like piper-her character didn’t exist outside of other characters. And they didn’t show his reaction when Jake dropped-but they showed every other kid in the room excepts him and Stavo (who probably barely knew Jake). I think it would be not totally surprising if he did this in revenue for Emma and his Father!

I don’t know if one of you guys have mentioned it already but also in the scream movie I remember Sidney being on the phone with the killer then Billy showed up at her window with a phone in his hand. In Tuesday’s episode Emma saw the killer and was running from him and then suddenly Kieran showed up.
