great thing about writing ocs is you can do whatever you want forever bad thing about writing ocs is you can never show anyone ever
i do think it’s like. incredibly load bearing that the crows decisively trample over their recruits’ notions of sex and consent. and the way in which that obscures (& enables) the kinds of violations they enact on others Could be a fascinating conversation. which. unfortunately. is badly undermined by the fact that bioware is trying to play crows sleeping with the target of an assassination as a sexy bond movie bit.
i think it's great when someone tries to pull off a tragic self-sacrifice in a story and there's at least one guy who's just like "no this is fucking stupid actually. you're an idiot." about it. because it kind of is. i love a good tragedy but let's be honest with ourselves if a friend tried to indulge a noble sacrifice fantasy would you not be a little annoyed. like come on man.
getting an evil spirit put inside you without your knowledge or consent is basically a classic childhood experience
demonic possession is a decent trope but you know what's even better? demonic cohabitation. just 2 people sharing the same body and both being the world's worst roommate about it.
the demon sharing a body with me: *looking at my depression meal in horror* we... are NOT eating that
me: oh so you can eat the souls of the innocent but you're too good for leftover spaghetti huh
*fights the demon living in my body over whose turn it is to answer the phone*
there's a really fun balance when you know someone has a crush on you where you can tease them for having a crush on you without letting them know you know they have a crush on you. this only works because people who have crushes will analyze everything you say but not very well. anyway, i love playing with my food.
Gosh, that's so perfect. Your friend is actually the only one who is engaging with this post correctly. Supersedes my original intent, even. Sorry, I bow to her wisdom here. Tell your friend I hope she's having fun!
imagining a late 18th/early 19th century young lady standing proudly in a fine gown with a labubu clipped to her chatelaine
big fan of a character seeking comfort in the arms of the thing that’s going to kill them. and i am psycologicalily normal too.
*me working in the insides of a machine* shush, I need to focus, this is very intimate- I mean intimate- I mean intimate- I mean intimate- I mean intricate.
and while i’m here. sera. dai is SO MEAN to sera. she makes literally perfect sense. she’s perfectly clear. and we can only be mean to her or tell her she doesn’t make sense or mock her and her friends if red jenny. like how can you not see how that’s insanely useful? sure we got leliana’s spies. great. love spies. but having regular ass people tell you whose good and whose bad? i trust them. i don’t want the option to kick her out if i can’t have to option to kick everyone else out. why do we gotta act like she’s insane when she’s just my fave working class princess
it seems like in bdsm the "rewards" and the "punishments" look very similar. this concerns me a great deal, because it points to a system of misaligned incentives. if we're not careful, it's even possible that a rational actor could deliberately violate regulations, because the penalties for rule violations are in fact incentivized. one shudders to think of the consequences of such an arrangement
Okay party, I've called this meeting because I want to make sure there's a contingency plan for if the Evil Sorceress tempts me and I betray you. I'm just noticing that we have a witch, magus, and cleric in this party while I am spec'd heavily into anti-magic, on account of the Evil Sorceress situation, so I really don't like our odds if I'm the one that gets seduced. Just something to take into account before we enter this fortress with a purple-pink color motif and abundant rose bushes. I'm not saying it WILL happen, I just know myself well enough to admit that my Sacred Oath as a crusader won't hold up for a second if I'm offered so much as a crumb of villainess pussy.
[woman who has never been gentle with herself voice] I just need to be more disciplined
Order of the Tender Apple Slice I've received a handful of commissions to draw people's pets as monks but this is definitely my favorite one so far

finding out you spent most of your life dissociated is a HUGE bummer
