While watching a DVD from the library my TV popped up a message saying to press a button if I wanted to watch this from additional providers.

It's never done that before so I looked it up and turns out Roku TVs have added all sorts of creepy things in the privacy section since I last checked.

One of which being they take screenshots from what you're watching and send them to third parties to identify it.

Fucking hell! Remember when every fucking device in your life wasn't a spy implanted in your home and working against your interests to try and sell your data? Remember how nice that was??

PSA - Do not buy an LG smart TV. They just added a line to their terms of use that it's the user's responsibility to inform any guests in their house that by entering they consent to be recorded, in order to comply with wiretapping laws. That thing is literally recording you.

You can find tutorials online telling you how to open that thing up and physically remove the mic and wifi module. Frankly I don't trust anything less.

The revelation that most of the valko haters that spread false info that got him taken down were kids like actually kids not even preteens reminds me of when i was in the official discord that's 18+ btw

in the Valko channel people were Sharing art and headcannons that were NSFW and low and behold about 3 or 4 people started complaining about seeing nswf art and wanting the channel to remain family friendly and revealed they were actually minors like one of them was 14 i think

everyone ofc was baffled this is an 18+ game and and 18+server tons of people were talking to this 14 year old explained to her this and how she shouldn't play the game in the first place,

This kid just wouldn't leave and would not admit that shes wrong she kept saying the game is her "escape" and like girl this game discusses human experimentation besides it being a highly sexual game it is not a place for Minors its not like you watching a movie and not looking away at a sex scene or whatever this is seriously not suitable for minors not just because of the story but the amount of NSFW content fans generate for it too!!!!

You cant complain about the entire fandom making sexual things for the game because ur a minor and you wont leave the adult only space?????

Any way i feel extremely uncomfortable and it was one of the reasons i left because instead of removing her and the other 3 they left her in the discord and people started policing others whenever they even Posted something vaguely sexual

Oh and in another discord that was made for valko only despite it also being 18+ and asking for the ages of everyone joining they regularly have to do a members purge to kick the minors out

the amount of complaining and arguing they do is insane
