It is very much a train of thought blog, if I think something I'll probably post it regardless of whether it is offensive or unpopular and will not explain it further unless explicitly asked. If I had to choose an otp it would probably Joker x Harley because they are perfect for one another, although wonderbat is also great. I enjoy video games, black ops is what I mostly play, but rpg's sometimes. Ask for more.

People joke about it all the time, but Justin Bieber is never going to get deported because it would look really bad if we deported him for one DUI when the government is going out of its way to not deport illegal immigrants with far worse wrap sheets. I don’t understand fully understand the love that everyone has for Severus Snape. Since when does being in love with a married woman excuse him being entirely vile towards Harry and numerous other students? You can say he helped Harry by giving him the sword and not letting Voldemort kill him, but even that was because he hated Voldemort and it was just a choice of who he hated more. 

Understanding why Snape was an awful person doesn’t really excuse the fact that he was an awful person.

Snape loved Lily and realised that he made a terrible mistake when Voldemort believed the prophecy meant Harry. He then devoted his whole life to save Harry’s life because that was all he could do to repay what he had done. He put his own life in complete danger and lied to Lord Voldemort, the most powerful, dark wizard. He didn’t like Harry because he reminded him so much of James who Snape did not get on with at all and then even when James wasn’t such a dick he started dating Lily and so Snape must have been incredibly envious of him and bitter of how he had been treated for so long. So seeing Harry, who looked just like his father, it brought up these feelings. So he may have seemed awful from how he treated Harry but what he devoted his life to shows differently.

Even if you forgive him for how he treated Harry and Neville, who he hated more than the rest for obvious reasons, he still hated the rest. I mean he treated Hermione and Ron better than Harry, barely. And I'm sure Fred and George could tell stories about how nasty he was to them, even the goody two-shoes Percy said in the first book that he was the least popular teacher around. He's well known for favoring Slytherins (the pure blooded house) over the others, and students regularly equate him to being as bad as a Death Eater, even if they don't know he is one. Furthermore I really believe he doesn't care that much about Harry, I mean think about it, if he hates Harry that much for just being the son of the man who "stole" his woman, and Neville that much just for not dying instead of Harry, then how much would he hate the person who actually killed Lily? Enough to devote his entire life to bringing that person down, even if it means protecting the person who looks exactly like the man who "stole" his love. I think so.
