Part 1: Primary Forms

1. “Slice” (Axe)

“High damage against a single target and robust combo options. Does extra damage from the back.”

2. “Flurry” (Dual Knives)

“Fast attack speed and high critical chance.”

3. “Slash” (Scythe)

“Wide sweeping attacks that can hit multiple enemies at once and knocks them away.”

Part 2: Secondary Forms

1. “Crush” (Giant Hammer)

“Slow attack speed, high damage output. Attacks can be charged to increase the weapons size and damage.”

2. “Extend” (Whip)

“Very long reach; can hit multiple targets when positioned well. Attacks can be charged for more damage, but with perfect timing, the damage is the highest.”

3. “Drill” (Self-Explanatory)

“Can be used for quick stabs, or by continuously drilling into enemies, dealing a large amount of damage over time.”

Part 3: Combo Enders

1. “Bludgeon” (Dual Gauntlets)

“Quick sequence of strikes that knocks enemies away and deals a great amounts of Falter.”

2. “Bludgeon Uppercut” (Gauntlet)

“Launch enemies with a powerful uppercut. Charging increases damage and sends Dylan airborne. Hitting Launched enemies recovers extra Ability Resource.”

3. “Cleave” (Giant Sword)

“Deals massive damage in a large area and knocks enemies away.”

4. “Cleave Spin” (Giant Sword)

“Continuous spin that deals damage to all nearby enemies.”

“After a short ranged strike, the blade is sent flying to a target, where it continuously damages it for a duration.”

The Identity of the “Giant Head Resonant” Theory

before anything else, just know i’m getting all this info from this video in particular, in combination with everything Remedy has officially said about what the Resonants are previously

after defeating the G.H.R (Giant Head Resonant), Dylan says this:

“You were human once, weren’t you? Something turned you into… this.”

so basically, all of the Resonants are “people of power” there were invaded by the Patterning and turned into Resonants, yes?

i personally theorize that before the Patterning invaded Manhattan, the G.H.R was an artist named Cassia Nomura that either worked at or had an exhibition for the art gallery that Dylan enters before fighting the G.H.R.

Remedy once stated that all of the Resonants are designed around a theme, with the Fire Resonant in particular being based around heat (source listed below) and i personally theorize that the G.H.Rs theme is art, and who else to be represented through this than an actual artist

the G.H.R itself is a cracked mask, and masks are a significant art form. furthermore, there are these weird artistic symbols that Cassia most definitely created that surround the battlefield where the fight between Dylan and the Resonant take place, the environment where the G.H.R first kills the Hiss as seen in the demo, and throughout the entire art gallery that Dylan enters before fighting the G.H.R
