Awkward// Scud & Ellie
After officially meeting his new girlfriend, she felt the need to come in contact with her former friend. She was a bit disturbed at what Jane had mentioned. Taking out her phone, she sent Scud a message. [text] Explain to me why your girlfriend knows I had a thing for you in the past. Don’t you think that’s something you could of left out?
Scud sighed when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out, thinking it was Jane letting him know when she would be home. But when he looked at the name, a small pang of regret shot through him. He quickly scanned the message, letting out a groan as he replied
‘She was pestering me. She was the one who asked me if you were interested in me, or vice versa. I tried to tell her that I should keep it private, but she bugged me until I snapped. I was hoping you’d have moved on by now. Yeah, I miss you, but I drove you away. You’re a wonderful girl, and you deserve better than me’
Once the messaged rang through, she read it over, shaking her head. [text] You should of at least lied or something! That’s some shit she didn’t need to know about me. She didn’t need to know about me at all. You didn’t drive me away, you know that. I shouldn’t have felt anything for you in the first place because you were with Emily. Leaving was something that needed to happen. As for moving on, I did as soon as my life in Paris started. I’m just never going to forgive you for letting me go completely. Our friendship died and you just washed your hands of me. I see now where you stand with me, Scud and I’m over it.
Scud groaned
'Listen...I'm not gonna bother arguing with you on this. Be mad at me all you want, but I never forgot about you. I've been dealing with my own bullshit with Emily, and I didn't want you to be burdened with it. If you wanna be mad at me, go right afuckinghead. I still want to be friends with you, El. You don't know how I feel, and I don't feel like explaining it because I feel like you're not gonna believe me'
