Welcome to SCVimagines! Weāre here to let you smooch scientists and mwuah mutants- and maybe even get affection from aliens- from the webcomic Scienceverse! Run by two totally legit scientists, Mod SP and Mod Chris, weāll do our best to deliver some heart-warming content from the Hearts Laboratory!

moving on from our long "YOU BETRAY MUTT?" chat, here you are!
while mutt is naturally nervous around scientists- for good reason- he's not at all the same kind of skittish around other mutants! ...uh, usually.
he's definitely interested in the mutant before anything else. a new mutant could go all kinds of ways- what kind of way will this one go? and when the mutant shows interest back to them, he gets a little flustered!
while he typically follows AD around, you'll find him following you around more and more- even if AD is still in the building. at first, he's shy, peeking around corners at you...
...but slowly, he starts openly following you around, occasionally chirping or purring to let you know they're there.
while they're not especially big or tough, he does his best to puff up and protect you from the more 'mean' scientists whenever he can. (this... may not go well, but...)
also, he always tries to stick near you during feeding! if he doesn't think you're getting enough, they offer to share some of his food with you instead.
overall, mutt is quicker to warm up to another mutant, and does his best to take care of you- just as the scientists do. oh, and expect them to seek you out to sleep with regularly...
dont know if this is too specfiic but how does hiram deal with a mutant s/o who's prone to causing trouble for everyone but him? does he scold them? does he not bother w them? what if someone complains abt the mutant's behavior to him?
gonna be honest with you: to sum it up, hiram has enough to deal with that he doesnāt think about it too much because at LEAST itās not HIS problem. (heās very nice.) but to go into more detail...
hiram, at first, hardly even notices that the mutant is causing problems for everyone but him. heās fairly work-focused, and doesnāt take time to socialize or... pay much attention to others, tbh, so.
it likely is brought up to him, for him to notice- someone mentions how heās the only one who doesnāt seem to get the mischievous side! and his reaction is very empathetic, because hiram is empathetic /s

he doesnāt really try to scold or correct the behavior at all, and, if anything, may end up (unintentionally) being softer to the mutant than he is to others. heās in absolute denial of this, though.
still, hiram will often end up spending more of his breaks around the mutant, instead of alone and working like usual! he tells himself itās just because people wonāt bother him then, but itās easy to suspect his real reasoning is otherwise...
howdy!!! could i request some romance headcanons for a polyship with mutt and AD?? thank you!!!
this was an adventure in me and chris working together to create these thank u anon for this experience
first off, two people means muttās care is easier, whether the other is mutant or scientist. you both get equal amounts of time with him, and he bounces between which one of you he follows while youāre working/doing other stuff!!! it works out well for him because he doesnāt like being alone, which means if one of you is gone he can latch onto the other
but mutt likes it best when youāre both there. expect to be forced to sit close to each other so mutt can sit half on each of your laps and chirrup at you two. heās a comfy mutant and he wants both of you to get his affection and also wants Both of your attentions
AD makes sure both you and mutt are spoiled as MUCH as possible!!! even at the expense of his bank account (rest in pieces). heāll also always try to make sure anything he plans will be good for 3 people dates- and good for being in the lab as well, since mutt canāt leave. basically heās big on making sure everyone feels loved because he loves you both!!! so much!!!
side note from chris: he might jokingly say there's more than enough of him to go around. youāre allowed to ditch him for this /j
overall, the two will lather you in attention (though mutt will also demand attention, but can you blame him) and youāll never be left wanting- also when AD stays overnight at the lab you all can have a big cuddle pile together and sleep. just be careful with your blanket, because mutt kind of IS a blanket

first off, lord DOES have a big ego, so youāre gonna need to feed it occasionally. praise, compliments, etc- you donāt have to do too much of it, but he does live for attention.
but in no way does that make him a bad partner!!! he gives compliments too, and will frequently tell you that youāre looking dashing today (or your preferred compliment) and that heās lucky to have you
for courting, heās very formal. expect gifts, flattery- he wonāt touch you unless you make it clear youāre okay with it, both because his limbs are octopus and because he doesnāt want to touch someone who might be averse!
he takes the time to learn what you do and donāt like to be called, and heās not shy of outright asking what terms you prefer
gifts range from seashells to bones (if you like them) to even shed teeth. even if you decline them, the sentiment is still there- heās willing to share a part of himself with you, and considering how highly he thinks of himself...
while dates with him arenāt too exciting- heās stuck in the lab, after all- you could always try something like.. diving with him! he would be thrilled to show you hisĀ āworldā, where he and angel stay
and if youāre another mutant, expect him to be protective, and to flatter you even more!!! depending on your size, he might even carry you around from place to place.

this is more of a concept ask than a specific character, so I hope it's still alright, but - birthdays! do the mutants know about their birthdays? if they do, how would they each celebrate them, do they think they're a big thing? sorry if this is weird, but I hope it's okay!

their birthday, in earth days, falls upon march 3rd. theyāre a pisces!
birthdays arenāt a big thing for their kind- so when theyāre introduced to them, they donāt really know what to... make of them. aging isnāt anything special for them.
but they DO like gifts. a lot.

Mutt
his birthday is february 20th! heās a pisces as well.
for mutt, birthdays arenāt... super cheery for him? his geneticĀ āsoupā at its very base is unstable, and the MT line doesnāt usually last too long. however, they are a celebration, because it means he survived another year, and still seems healthy!
typically theyāre just celebrated with some extra candies being handfed to him, and some cuddles.
Sweetie
sweetieās birthday is hard to pin down, due to the nature of their creation, but roughly january 30th is the best guess. theyāre an aquarius!
they... donāt care about their birthday. the most celebration they get is an extra helping of scraps.
Lord
lord knows his birthday well. it falls on august 3rd, and heās a leo.
his birthdays are a big deal whether anyone wants them to be or not. he parades around and demands extra fish, attention, compliments. heās the star of the lab on his birthday!
(snallie also gets snacks that lord demands.)

Siren
ah, siren. its birthday is actually on september 25th, making it a libra- but its birthday isnāt one to be celebrated.
due to the massive danger of opening the door without earplugs, it doesnāt get much celebration- especially since gifts could be used against those who come in.
however, it does usually get a new type of tea brought in, at least.

betty knows what birthdays are, but doesnāt really care for a big party or anything. she just wants to be with whoever her partner is- that alone is enough for her.
Alice
now, i know we havent talked about alice but yet- but she was given life on july 10th.
she wants her birthday to beĀ ānormalā, and to do things humans do. she gets presents, a cake, a small party...
itās... a little sad, admittedly. but she has fun, at least!
Ceru
the bastard himself. ceru was born in winter, under a heat lamp, on december 2nd. heās a sagittatius!
he does not care the slightest bit about his birthday. not at all. no damns. heās too busy breaking the rules
Celeste
sweet celeste was grown on may 28th. sheās a gemini.
she doesnāt exactly know what birthdays are. or care much about it. she gives gifts to those she cares about all year long, after all!
Angel
angel was, ironically, born on december 25th. heās a capricorn, and yes, that means heās born on christmas.
and this means he demands double gifts.
heāll occasionally be nice enough to not shock the scientist who goes into his tank that day, though.
Seer
seer was born in october- on the 19th, specifically. sheās a libra!
sheās avoidant of the scientists to begin with, so birthdays arenāt really her thing. but...
...if offered cake, you might later find thereās a piece missing.
Dahlia
born and blossomed in the early days of spring, dahlia was born on march 23rd, as an aries.
her birthdays are quiet celebrations- usually just with a couple of people. sheās given special water instead of a cake, and just enjoys the company!

AD is very sweet! He can be a little charmingly flirty, but he means no harm and is incredibly loyal once heās seeking someone out - sometimes stubbornly so. If he likes you, you canāt be subtle and have to flat-out reject him for him to understand.
That said, itās good if you ARE interested, because heāll be delighted to take you on a date and figure out your favorite gifts. Heāll absolutely spoil you and love every penny spent on you!!
Heās also very shy, however, and oblivious too. That is - he might not be interested in you at first, not realizing your affections, but once you drop theĀ āLā word on him heāll get flustered and excitable!!!
Heās also very close to Mutt, so be prepared to help him take care of Muttās molting and feeding times if you work at the lab.
If youāre a mutant, heāll be very gentle with you! Heās not cruel at all. Thereās a reason heās in the Bleeding Hearts, after all.

of course you can!!! iāll do my best to deliver!!!
first off, hiram never expected to bond to someone like this- let alone a mutant. past experience made him raise his walls to avoid this, and yet, you slipped past his defenses anyways, and he couldnāt stop from falling for you.
heās initially very hesitant and unsure about showing you any sort of affection- especially as youāre a mutant. the lab is full of dangers for anyone, and knowing that causes him to be a little awkward about romance at first... but after a bit, he warms up!
hiramās a workaholic, and so heās practically always found around the lab. this means heās usually nearby, though! but you also find him passed out at his desk often... and often, mumbling your name from his dreams.
expect a lot of small gestures. he slips you more treats, more things to keep you occupied when heās not around, and tries to find what your favorites are. heās still a little bit in denial, but heās genuine, and does his best to make you more comfortable at the lab.
however, he IS hot and cold at heart- donāt expect him to admit liking you outright! thereās a lot of embarrassment and he tries to hide it with being a little on the blunter side.
...however, late at night, when heās one of the only ones left in the lab, heāll soften, just for you. he relaxes and lets his guard down, gentle in his tone and kisses. he doesnāt feel like he has to pretend when itās just you and him, no one else.
(the next day, heās just as in denial about his embarrassment, but at least when you two are alone together, you get to see a side no one else does.)

molly is, overall, incredibly sweet to her sweetheart! sheās big on gifts and gestures of affection, but not necessarily big ones- she likes to spoil her partner a little, and get them lots of gifts.
speaking of gifts, sheās unlikely to get anything super grand- more small trinkets you can keep on you! simple jewelry, little trinkets or gems or fidgety toys- those are her favorites to get you! she also loves to get flowers for her beloved, always with meanings behind them.
molly also loves to surprise you with homemade dinners, tailored to your tastes! sheās happiest seeing you happy, and seeing you enjoy things; if she made it herself, and it makes you happy, thatās a bonus!
she can be, admittedly, a little touch starved at times, so hopefully youāre okay with physical affection. if you are, then sheāll hold your hand, sit next to you and lean her head on your shoulder, kiss your cheek... sheās a little shy about it, but your smile makes it all worth it!
she makes it a point to learn about your interests, either directly from you or on her own. she loves hearing you talk about them, and does her best to learn so she can ask better questions and carry a conversation about it better!
molly, admittedly, LOVES cheesy pickup lines. youāre going to get really corny pickup lines sent to you or told to you. and with her work hours, this definitely means she sends you like three at 2 am.
generally, a relationship with molly is filled with a lot of smiles- sheās always trying to help you out in whatever she can, and always aiming to make you happy. youāre her sunlight, after all!

First off, please donāt interact if you support aging up characters who are minors to selfship with them as an adult, or aging down S/Is to selfship with minors.
Secondly, we reserve the right to deny interaction if we feel uncomfortable with your blog or request! (This will typically only happen if your blog is offensive, or if you primarily selfship with a series that makes us mods uncomfortable.)
By default, imagines will be written neutrally unless you specify a gender and it requires said gender! Please donāt specify if the imagine doesnāt require a gender.
with those rules out of the way, we have some simpler guidelines, too!
We wonāt do any imagines for Mr. Director, specifically, no matter the type. Sorry if you F/O him, but with his character, we donāt feel comfortable making any sort of imagines with him.
Asking for Edyta will likely always come with a warning for slight gore and blood mentions. Weāll always have a more specific warning at the start of the imagine, but please take care in asking for her.
