Timelapse #9:

Aaand progress pics:

Thumbnails and 4 major revisions! I tried drawing out the idea i wanted to go for several times over...a cascading comic panel that leads your eyes downward. I wanted the bottom panel/drawing to be the most prominent of them all, so I made a drastic switch from black and white to color.

I don't typically do black and white drawings; color is the one thing I tend to focus on more than anything (It's what I enjoy most with drawing!)

But recently getting into Witch Hat Atelier I want to figure out certain things with hatchings/textures/etc.

In total, this took about 12 hours to make or so. This is a reason why the short timelapse goes so fast!

And, as well-

...probably the most layers I have had for one drawing, huh...? Next time around, I should really organize these layers better....

It was a very interesting experiment to do. I've always been interested in comic making, and I have some experience traditionally with FFXIV and some OC ideas. I'm considering also doing another small project after this- a video.

Anyways, hope this explains some things! じゃあね~

I hunkered down and tried doing a comic page for once! I think the timelapse for this one would be fascinating to see...so, so many revisions. I'll post it tomorrow alongside process details.

UPDATE!

I took a small break because I accidentally pushed myself too hard and my shoulder/hand had to rest for a while. So, uh, fellow artists take care of yourselves okay? No shrimping. And do proper stretches!

I will try being more careful from now on. My next art will be finishing my Don Quixote art, so I hope you all look forward to it!
