PREGNANT ā¤ļø and feeling it. So thankful and learning all about symptoms I never knew were from pregnancy.
Went through a round of progesterone, then Clomid and had two good follicles, one dominant and one not far behind! Tests came back positive yesterday and the day before so most likely ovulation today!! Will keep ātryingā for a few more days :) š¤š»
Was put in Progesterone for 10 days...
Finished 10 days on Sunday and immediately started spotting for two days. Was supposed to start Clomid on day 3 of period so I called my doctor to see if the spotting counted-Nope...so now waiting and praying for a period so we can move on the next steps!
Heard from the doctor today-she thinks I have PCOS. Not a ton of symptoms but elevated testosterone. She recommended the Whole Foods Diet and maybe being put on medicine to get things regulated.
The wait sucks....
Does anyone use any other apps besides Premom to scan ovulation tests and track?
Iāve been using Premom but lately itās been freezing so bad that it takes over 10 minutes to track one test and none of the tabs will open.
Got my bloodwork back from the doctors. It was taken last Tuesday and I hadnāt ovulated in a while (i have since ovulated and baby danced so fingers are crossed).
Bloodwork showed elevated total and free testosterone. Iām not entirely sure what that means. Iāve researched and it says it could be caused by PCOS but I have no other symptoms than the lack of period.
I instantly feel slightly down when getting results with items out of range and ask myself questions like Why does this have to be so hard? Why canāt my body just work right?
Maybe I am just overthinking it and we will have gotten lucky this month.š©
PLEASE SEND SOME BABY DUST OUR WAY!
i have been ovulation testing since my last period, Feb 11, and finally got some positive tests; photo below. Baby danced twice today so š¤š»
Ordered Pumpkin, Sesame, Sunflower and Flax Seeds to try seed cycling. Will start tomorrow!
Getting bloodwork tomorrow to see where my hormones lie so hopefully that will have some answers!
š¢NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) has been scientifically studied to have numerous benefits for PCOS šNAC is a powerful antioxidant that works to reduce inflammation since inflammation is a hallmark factor of PCOS šIt lowers insulin resistance which effects most of the women with PCOS. šIt helps to lower androgens ( male hormones ), since elevated levels of male hormones can cause symptoms like acne, facial hair, irregular periods, hair loss which aggravates the condition. šRegulates menstrual cycle and improves fertility.

Starting taking the following supplements based off research:
⢠Premamas Fertility Support
⢠Fish Oil
⢠CoQ10
⢠Vitamin D
⢠Prenatal with Iron
⢠I bought NAC but havenāt taken it yet. Any recommendations on taking it??
What fertility tracking does everyone do? Iāve been using ovulation tests and monitoring my body as a whole!
Any tips and tricks for trying to encourage ovulation?!
Background: had my Mirena removed in July, had normal periods in August, September, and October and then had no periods or ovulation in November and beginning of December. Tried Premamaās Birth Control Cleanse and ovulated at the end of December and had a normal period in January...continued BCC and got my period in February. Ran out of BCC and stopped taking it and now have not ovulated or gotten my period since my period in early February. SO FRUSTRATING!!
My husband and I would love to start having kids and this is really depressing us both as I kept the IUD in for two years after our wedding because we were constantly assured that my body would just go back to normal!
