That is really good.
Beautiful photo.

So beautiful
My husband has informed me that around 2-3am he woke up to muffled screaming and discovered that the cat had pulled open the Tupperware drawer and crawled inside, but her weight had closed the drawer and she was stuck inside and needed rescuing.
Permission to laugh?
I mean I definitely laughed
how does a cat open a cupboard drawer?
With her little criminal paws
can we see the little criminal?
^^^ This cat is a delinquent
Criminal cat made me smile this morning.
First Do No Harm
Beautiful
hey staff why did all the adult artists get banned but I’m still surrounded by pornbots and terrible harem fantasy game ads with crying abused women in them, I know the answer is MONEY I just really wanted to bring it up and acknowledge how fucked that is
Affirmations for fanfic authors
It’s okay to take a break. - We all need time to recharge, and your fans will still be there when you get back!
It’s okay to go from fandom to fandom. - Nobody is going to criticize you for following your muse, and if they do, then you know who not to associate with in the future!
It’s okay to have a niche. - If smut is where it’s at, then write smut. If you’re all about the fluff, then schmoop away. If angst is what does it for you, then invest in tissues. Nobody has the right to tell you that you should be doing something else if that isn’t what interests you!
It’s okay to be critical of your own work. - Just don’t allow yourself to become so self-deprecating that you freeze!
It’s okay to ask for help. - If you’re unsure of a trope, concept, fact or universe, reach out to your circle of friends. Chances are, they’ll be more than happy to help you because they want to see you succeed!
It’s okay to ignore criticism. - Constructive criticism is only constructive if it helps you. If someone says something that doesn’t assist or improve you in any way, then please feel free to ignore whatever nugget they are imparting, because chances are good they don’t have the best of intentions for you!
It’s okay to stop writing all together. - Your fans will miss you (and chances are good you have way more than you realize,) but sometimes, you just gotta do you!
It’s okay to write with whatever method works for you. - Long writing marathons where you bang out 12,000 words in one day? Great! Linear, dry style that means you occassionally get stuck because you can’t figure out this scene, but it’s all worth it in the end? Rad! Piecemeal work that you thread together at the end? Fabulous! As long as it works for you, there is no wrong way to write!
It’s okay to have fun. - I think this goes without saying, no? But it seems that sometimes, authors need permission. So consider this permission to wile the hell out, and enjoy the ride!
I think there’s a few of us needing this right now, myself included.
Me too!
Do what works for you.
‘Cause if they used us, and they abused us, how could you tell us that we were wrong?
Love the Cell Block Tango.
Last year I did a few write-ups and drawings about some lady fighters from history who fought openly as their gender (there are plenty of disguised-as-a-man soldiers and plenty of trans soldiers, but those are outside the scope of this series). This is by no means an exhaustive list; there were plenty of great figures that my schedule didn’t permit me to tackle (at least not yet). But as Women’s History Month gets started tomorrow, I thought y’all might enjoy reading about some of history’s toughest broads.

Awesome, thanks for posting @wilwheaton
Love this so much.
A limerick:
Doesn’t look like a limerick to you? Try this:
A dozen, a gross, and a score Plus three times the square root of four Divided by seven Plus five times eleven Is nine squared and not a bit more.
THE HECK HECK HECK HECCCCCKKKKKKKK
POETRY WAS NOT MEANT TO BE USED LIKE THIS
@oparu and @soulofsilence - you two were the first people I thought of! Please don’t do this to your students. :p
I shall totally do this because it is interdisciplinary and fun. My Calc test had an amazing Alice in wonderland poem and I loved it
Awesome!
My choice for the next Doctor
Make her immortal.
Perfect choice
Reblog if you think fanfiction isn't a waste of time.
Reblog if you think it’s a good way to practice writing.
Reblog if you have made friends because of fanfiction.
My sister called it a waste of time and I want to prove her wrong.
Tell your sister I’m now a professionally paid author because of “fanfic.”
Tell your sister to get over herself.
Tell your sister things that make you happy are never a waste of time
Fanfic is no waste of time. I ficced Star Trek so hard that eventually Paramount started paying me (through Pocket Books) to write it professionally. I spent more or less three months fairly high up on the New York Times Bestseller List because of having gotten really good at writing Trek while writing hundreds of thousands of words of fanfic. (Your first million words are for practice, David Gerrold always used to say, and I think he may be right.)
And fanfic is a source of joy: for the reader, ideally, but at least for the writer. True joy is never wasted.
Your sister is wrong.
You’ll be glad you spent a few minutes looking at this.
I’ll never get enough of Buster Keaton in this context.
Those were awesome.

And people wonder why we give up on out art...
I was hoping to finish by Christmas. But that didn’t happen. And I’m kinda thinking I won’t be finished by New Years even, because life. So have a (rather rough first draft of a) scene from Gimme Your Hands (’Cause You’re Wonderful), a new Phlint Phic coming…sometime next year (and Harmonies IS STILL IN PROGRESS AND NOT ABANDONED, I PROMISE!!!)

Clint stood awkwardly in the hall outside Phil’s apartment. He shifted his weight, rubbed the back of his neck, and basically did everything that Bobbi used to get so pissed off at him for doing (<i>stand </i>still<i>, Clint! Unless you’ve got a bow or a rifle in your hand, it’s like you’re a big three year old. I swear…</i>. Clint never could figure out what she was swearing to, exactly). He couldn’t come up with a way to ask if Phil’d enjoyed breakfast or if there’d be a next time. Or if maybe Clint could follow him into his apartment <i>this</i> time and get on with the only part of relationships that ever made any sense in Clint’s book.

Oh my, lovely bit of fic to wake up to. Thank you @faeleverte
