Matilda Headcanons/Thoughts (Because I wrote them in her solo post):
Ignoring the fact we do Not see Girl Sports in mystic falls, but Matilda still being a jock, football girl!
Her and Elena starting as friends into a relationship that wasn't as obviously open as in canon, and again, Matilda wanting to be more serious/open during that party and Elena having a mini freak out and splitting up
Everyone thinks Matilda and Tyler are in a relationship, The lockwoods do NOT like this. Though, because she's popular/good at school they mostly leave it be, especially since Tyler insists they just friends. (this will change)
Her and Vicki still have a close relationship, Matt is extra mad about Vicki sleeping with Tyler because I think Vicki would know Matts had a low level(at least what she'll admit to her) crush on him.
Matilda worrying about liking Tyler because she doesn't want to be her mom(chasing after rich guys)
People trying to be more protective of her but her also taking to the hunting/fighting things really well and quickly, something her and Jeremy bond over, they start training/practicing together when it all starts.
