PSA:
DO NOT JUDGE PEOPLE ON THEIR MAJOR LET THEM PURSUE THEIR PASSIONS IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS THAT IS ALL
do u ever feel like you’ve accidentally tricked certain people into thinking you are smarter and have more potential than you actually do and do you ever think about how disappointed they’ll be when you inevitably crash and burn
Fun fact: Impostor Syndrome is ridiculously common among high-achievers, particularly women. If you identify with this post, odds are pretty good that you’re exactly as smart as people think you are, and the failure you’re afraid of isn’t inevitable at all.

“You’re allowed to leave any story you don’t find yourself in. You’re allowed to leave any story you don’t love yourself in.
You’re allowed to leave a city that has dimmed your light instead of making you shine brighter, you’re allowed to pack all your bags and start over somewhere else and you’re allowed to redefine the meaning of your life.
You’re allowed to quit the job you hate even if the world tells you not to and you’re allowed to search for something that makes you look forward to tomorrow and to the rest of your life.
You’re allowed to leave someone you love if they’re treating you poorly, you’re allowed to put yourself first if you’re settling and you’re allowed to walk away when you’ve tried over and over again but nothing has changed.
You’re allowed to let toxic friends go, you’re allowed to surround yourself with love, and people who encourage and nurture you. You’re allowed to pick the kind of energy you need in your life.
You’re allowed to forgive yourself for your biggest and smallest mistakes and you’re allowed to be kind to yourself, you’re allowed to look in the mirror and actually like the person you see.
You’re allowed to set yourself free from your own expectations.”
- Rainia Nam (Huffington Post)
Does anyone else have that one item that we attribute luck to for some reason? It's like "hey this is my lucky pencil. Sure I didn't do well/ failed my last couple tests using this pencil, but it's my lucky pencil nonetheless" It makes no sense and yet I still do it
everyone: you're so chill
me: i've panicked so much that the only way in which i won't combust out of existence is to be like this
The sky is not my limit.. I am
I think one of the most important things my teachers stressed when it came to writing texts was that you should use connectives - your essay/text/whatever will be easier to read if you don’t start every sentence with “and” and actually connect your sentences. So here are a few words you can use to structure your text.
When The Exam You’re Convinced You're Going To Fail Is Suddenly Postponed Because Your University Has Cancelled Classes Due To The Hurricane
YEAH FLORIDA
So yesterday my teacher posted a little anonymous graph showing the grade distribution for our last test, and some other person and both got the same, but lowest scores in the entire class. Like wow it's one thing to think "maybe I got the lowest score, I bet everyone did better than me" but it's another thing to know that it's true, you actually did the worst
My september tracker! I haven’t been studying much because I was in Italy :) Had an amazing time there with my sister. College starts today and I’m excited!
some words I often forget
Love this. Often times, people in first world countries act as if having the opportunity to get an education is a curse. I’ve learned to cherish my education because where I come from there is no such thing as an education for a young woman.
