When i was first playing the game i did not know,,, Character ages so there were a few things i was like “ooo this would be good” and then i see theres a gap BUT platonic is free reign and great
Cyrus and Alfyn have a great dynamic! They have some of my favorite travel banters, especially the one in Quarrycrest (cyrus chap 2) where Alf’s getting upset about all the sacrificed people and Cyrus reassures him!
Another one of my fav platonic ones with Cyrus is just,,, him with ANY of the women,,, Specifically Ophilia and Prim, i love the travel banter where Cyrus brings up to Primrose that he actually likes (or wants to learn how to) dance! It made me very happy considering he had the dancer subjob on my team at the time
OLBERIC DAD. I rest my case (also ive seen olberic x cyrus which is actually so fun i like that!! i need to look at their travel banters)
Okay ive talked about these three recently and the sibling dynamic that is Alfyn, Tressa, and Ophilia they are SO SIBLING CODED—I mean, number one Ophilia literally states “is this what having an older brother feels like” in a travel banter, and like in a tavern banter Tress is like “ooold medicine man” WHICH IS SO REAL,, Alf isnt even that much older than Tress but I speak from experience—If your sibling is older than you you must call them an old person that is law
H’aanit is a fun one—She really gets along with all of the party members in her own way, but I especially love the one Tavern banter with her, Tress, and Therion where they’re talking about rituals and stuff!! Its pretty fun!! Also i love her bond with Linde if that counts
Yeah tumblr exposed me to it i ship Alfion what about it,,,, /silly MY FRIEND AGREES FOR THE RECORD When she started the game I was talking about all the main members so that she could choose who to start with and i very vaugely mentioned that tumblr ships them a lot and she just gasped and went “thief and healer is such a good combo” I KNOW RIGHT
(honorable mention because i live in multishipper hell: primrose and alfyn is very good too)
Like I said earlier Olberic and Cyrus is a fun ship!! I like the idea of big gentle giant with dumb smart yapsalot (also they’re totally both an aroace couple)
Honestly,,, Primrose and Ophilia is a combo in heaven i rest my case (lesbians for the WIN)
Tressa is the eternal third wheel and she is completely fine with that because that means she can tease all of them. H’aanit is too!!
Also,, I dont think im far enough into the second game to make huge thoughts about the travelers yet but
