⋆˚✿˖° Things to script in your better CR/DR things to manifest just because you can, PART TWO - GLOBAL BETTERMENT EDITION. ⋆˚✿˖°
Some inspo for you guys — here’s what I’ve added to my better CR DR, part two. In this DR, tech feels more early-2000s: modern but less consuming, with more focus on real connection and being outside. Like many of us, I’m shifting to a better CR DR because the current world feels unlivable and draining. Mine has less corruption, no slide toward end-stage capitalism, and no looming environmental collapse. Tech is still useful, but it no longer dominates human interaction. I also scripted some political reform, since things here in the U.S. have gotten terrifying. The changes are gradual — not a perfect utopia, but getting there, I wanted it to feel familiar to life now but how I think the world should be. For reference, I’m shifting back to January 2024, living in an altered LA that feels more like NYC.
We settle into such a nice space of technological advancements. Technology helps us it doesn’t rule us. It advances but in helpful ways, such as medical advancements.
There’s a new Democratic candidate, Harrison Cross (kinda a DILF tbh) — sensible, moderate, and actually has good ideas. He believes in climate action, a woman’s right to choose, and promotes real bipartisanship, appealing to both Democrats and many Republicans. He’s from LA, grew up around politics, and this is his first run. After Biden stepped out of the race in 23' (instead of summer of 24'), Cross stepped up, with Kamala (49) as his proposed VP — he’s 50. Cross will win twice, then Kamala will run and win twice after him, with Tim Walz as her VP (around 50 at the wake-up scene). Under their leadership, figures like Trump never threaten the country again, and extremist movements like Project 2025 fade into nonexistence. The U.S. becomes more educated and balanced overall.
The world in general becomes less black mirror, we progress in tech, yes, but we also progress and value human connection first and foremost. Superficial shit becomes less important, followers and likes become less important but even at wake up scene, it's not as important as it is here. Life feels more like the early 2000s
AI has strict guidelines rules and regulations to prevent its overdevelopment.
AI has a very minimal but helpful addition to our world, it has it's place in medicine, entertainment, etc but it does not replace human creativity in the slightest and the rules and regulations about it are super strict. Like for ex creating deep fakes etc is illegal and will result in jail time.
Within the next 3-4 years, planes no longer release Co2 emissions but rely on something else that is better for the earth and actually contributes to the earth's betterment.
Community Spirit regains it’s relevancy especially throughout the USA, ex borrowing a cup of sugar from a neighbor, driving a friend to the airport, etc. etc. Neighborhoods become safe spaces for kids again, kids can play in the street, community comes back.
Woody Allen doesn’t exist and Hollywood isn’t run by pedophiles, just normal good and hard working people.
America becomes a healthier place, more walkable, better foods, etc. We retain our aesthetic but we have better health regulations.
The future of tech isn’t scary, doesn’t take over if anything it decreases a little bit to a healthy level, we coexist with tech at an appropriate level, less iPad babies etc
WMD are never implemented or used at all in any capacity and are outlawed and no more are made.
Elon Musk doesn’t exist, Tesla does but is owned by a...normal person.
Corporations aren't as fucking evil, people are happier, within two years the political world changes like never before.
One of the reasons why A.I doesn't advance in a scary way is because theres not a demand for it, people don't want to loose touch with humanity, so it has a very controlled, limited input.
The church of scientology doesn’t exist.
The war in Ukraine is resolved beginning of 2025 and in 2025 a new president of Russia steps in.
Epstein's island was never a thing and neither was/is any of that crazy shit. Jeffrey Epstein doesn't/didn't exist here.
The world just becomes a kinder place, less abuse, more general acts of kindness and service, less predators.
The menendez brothers are freed right before thanksgiving (2024) and get to live a peaceful rest of their lives, they somehow have plenty of money when they get out.
Within three years Lab Made Cobalt is invented so we aren’t mining in Congo and Africa, Lab made cobalt is Carbon Negative/Climate positive, Congo does better as a country, etc. We use the lab made cobalt for our phones and stuff.
More people have made their money ethically, it is more common.
Instagram face is on its way out — the pendulum’s swinging back to natural beauty and real, normal-looking people. The filler look is so over; by ’24, it’s dropping fast until there’s barely even a market for it.
No major wars in my time alive.
From the moment that I wake up in my DR, climate change does not worsen, it stays the same and then gradually lessens to being barely conceivable and even at the point of waking up its not as bad as it is in 2025, it's like 2014 bad.
Food and medicine specifically in America becomes better for us, we become more connected to our food and our eating. We become more connected. The world becomes so healthy and much of this positive change can be seen within two years. The “family” also comes back into American ideals, maybe not nuclear but family values are implemented. Less single mothers, etc. Divorce rates go down, etc. The world heals.
The world, and particularly America, is experiencing positive progress across various fronts, including consumerism, the economy, poverty, inflation, climate change, fast fashion, war, politics, and human rights. This gradual yet consistent improvement is evident as new voices assume positions of power, and entire generations actively advocate for justice. The trajectory is towards a brighter, more sustainable future.
Climate change moves to the top of the list in terms of countries priorities and change starts being implemented fast.
Fast fashion is OVER, shein, temu, etc. that shit is done.
The revival of third space are coming back in 2024, especially low cost or free.
Burning man isn’t a thing.
People get OFF their phones, human connection comes back.
None of the celebrities I like are Zionists, and Zionism rapidly declines. Within 3–4 years, Israel reckons with its actions and works hard to rebuild its image and make things right for Palestine and the world — much like Germany did after WWII. The conflict is resolved peacefully within a few years, and Palestine begins to recover as soon as Cross takes office.
The U.S. stops blindly supporting Israel, and the UN—along with many other nations—finally stands up to them. AIPAC is dismantled, Netanyahu is held accountable for his war crimes, and a global tribunal, similar to the Nuremberg trials, is convened.
American food production comes back to the US, land stops being cleared in the amazon (immediately) for cattle production and over 90% of beef consumed in the USA is bred in the usa. This way American farmers and ranchers are being supported.
People work less - on average around 4 days a week, 6 hours a day - with higher pay and a decent standard of living. The country still thrives econmoically and socially.
Healthcare is free and there's better support for women and childcare.
The political division between the left and right loses its hostility.
People spend more time outside, connecting and living well.
The USA genuinely improves - finally earning the title of 'best country in the world'
People start being more creative, their only hobby isnt media consumption, especially with people having more time off, people just become happier and more pleasant like tiktok is still a thing ofc but people aren’t like glued to their phones.
Our neo-colonialist influence over other countries diminishes.
Yes AI is a thing and so is chatGPT but it is climate neutral and people don’t use it for like everything, google is still a thing and people don’t use it to write essays, etc. Because there are really strict regulations against that and people recognize that it could take on a life of its own if we over utilize it, chatGPT doesn’t evolve past what it is.
Teachers start getting paid more, and are able to structure their curriculum better, schools and education specifically in the USA gets much much much better.
People don’t just flood to the cities in coming years like small towns keep their people etc. City populations relatively stay the same in comparison to the world population. Like small towns are still a thing
America stops being a corporate hellscape, more places dedicated to nature. Less strip malls, we have our own unique aesthetic but just less bs.
America invigorates its aeshtetic of “america” like it was in the 60's-2000's. And old money events start giving old money again. Life starts to feel like the late 90s and early 2000s again, truly, everything becomes more personable less online, more in person, things start feeling more classic.
Life just feels like the perfect permanent mix of like the late 90s early 2000s mixed with the excitement of the future. A perfect ex of that would be high tech fridges that can keep things fresh for up to a month to reduce food waste, all tech is geared towards sustainability, especially going forward.
Products are made to last, there is a giant push towards that and planned obscolence becomes a thing of the past and a dark blip in consumerism, things becoming charming again, same with phones. On average people update their phone every 5 or 6 years now, not every year. And with computers its like every 10-15 years. Things have charm, things are built to last. And there are even laws and committees put into place for this. Same goes for shrinkflation.
Companies like Apple, tech companies and other companies in general make a pledge not to make their products shitty so that you have to keep buying new versions, they make them well and strong, so that they actually fucking last. They make this pledge in concern to protecting the environment, somehow doing this they can still be economically viable.
All the brands i shop from are sustainable and made from the best possible quality materials, 95% of brands within the next few years will be sustainable.
Apple stops releasing phones every year due to environmental things but now every other, so the 15 will be the latest for the next 2 years. On average these phones last much longer, like eight years.
Endangered Species rise significantly in population in upcoming years and strict protections are implemented so it doesn’t drop again.
Our coral reefs are almost entirely restored within the next ten years, and fully restored in the next 20, same with the amazon rainforest.
A tech has just been founded that turns Co2 emissions from cattle waste into renewable energy, this largely changes the structure of sustainability.
That's it! If you guys want me to share more things I scripted from this category or others please let me know, my script for my better CR DR is like hundreds of pages at this point. I can share personal changes I made, financial things, the new layout of the city I live in (LA) etc.
*Please remember, that this is my DR and i'm making the changes that I wish to see implemented in the world. It's not up for debate, you are free to do whatever you wish to do in YOUR dr.
