Like Joe, you’ve probably experienced tremendous losses in your childhood: loss of good feelings about yourself, loss of feelings of safety, loss of trust loss of joy and spontaneity loss of nurturing, respectful parents, loss of childhood, loss of innocence, loss of love

The thing about patriarchy is that individual men, gay and straight, are often really wonderful people who you love deeply, but they have internalized some really poisonous shit. So every once in a while they say or do something that really shakes you because you’re no longer totally certain they see you as a human being, and you feel totally disempowered to explain that to them.

Just gonna leave this here.
I just circled all that applied.
I love how Romney
Is pro woman, b/c he wants to hire women and give them the flexible hours they need to go home and get in the kitchen and watch the kids.
Today in my WGST class we watched this pretty powerful trailer which upset me quite a bit so I thought I’d share. From Dream Worlds 3: Desire, Sex, and Power in Music Video
