As if things weren't already bad for trans people in India...this just made it worse. Bill made by people who don't know shit about the community. This bill only "protects" the cishet status quo . My only hope is with the Supreme Court now. Funniest thing about this bill is that Hijra and kinnar people are also a socio cultural trans identity in India. They also self-identify, somethings that this bill excludes.
