Unfortunately for me, everything I like to eat, and most of what I don't care for, is actively poisonous to me. It's a pain. My options are limited. And I don't mean to imply that my options are bad. There's still plenty I can eat that I like. It's just that none of it is particularly convenient or easy.
I gave up pop over a decade ago now, switching to the sugar free options. I've now had to give those up as well, which I'm not overly thrilled about. Last week I tried making home made iced tea. I made the mistake of adding too much lemon juice to that first batch. It was fine, but not what I was going for.
Yesterday I tried again. Cold brewed for 8 hours, didn't add any lemon juice this time, just lemon slices. Left it overnight. Turned out beautifully. No sweetener at all. It's very nice. I'm pretty pleased. This is going to be my go to drink from now on I think.
