The children locally named the new creative art and play space in South London ‘Art Block’, This space is at the bottom of Lakanal, on Sceaux Gardens estate.

Art Block is a free space on Sceaux Gardens Estate that is part of Open Plan, a three year public art and education project which invites international and UK based artists to create artworks with and for the SLG’s close neighbours on Elmington, Pelican and Sceaux Gardens housing estates, along with a programme of events at the gallery.

Project delivery for South London Gallery, working children from Peckham and Camberwell’s Shop of Possibilities to use analogue modes of photography.

Each child given a 35mm disposable camera, and over the space of three sessions they were tasked with taking photos of their local area and spaces in the local vicinity of Southampton Way that were important to them.

Delivery of a project with South London Gallery to commemorate the closing of the Shop of Possibilities, a shop unit that became a play space for local children. Before the move to Art Block, the new creative space at the bottom of Lakanal House.

To impress ideas of archiving and documenting ones history to those who played and created work in Shop of Possibilities. The children came together along with local artists and residents to piece together remnants and items that they played with and made over the years at the SoP.

The time capsule was buried on Sceaux Gardens, and will be unveiled in ten years, 2027

In 2015, London based independent radio station NTS reached out to me, Elijah Maja, about deivering an overview of their social media presence, tone and strategy. To collect data, provide examples of how I would have approached the posts, critiquing and assessing some of the content and techniques used to build interaction, engagement and rapport with the consumer.

Additional review of the beta for their new site was also undertaken.

The structures and approaches advised are very adaptable and flexible and are essentially still being utilised by the brand in NTS.
