Stuck Part 2. Tony Stark x Reader x Bucky Barnes FanFic
Read Part: 1.
Sex with Tony was always amazing. This time was different, better even. It was mind blowing -the best sex I could've asked for. I guess Tony being jealous made for an extra good time. I had just started cooking the chicken for the wraps Bucky requested. Tony was leaning against the counter relatively close to me, his eyes glued to his phone.
"Shouldn't you be down there with them?" I asked nonchalantly, peeking up at him. It wasn’t so much that I didn’t want him around me. It was that I didn’t want to draw suspicion to him being with me. They had scheduled group training times, which he was supposed to participate in.
He shrugged, "I can stay with you for a few minutes, I do care for you. I'm not just using you.” He never once looked up from whatever was engrossing him his screen.
"Why'd you hire me?" I asked, I was genuinely curious.
"You were the best candidate," he once again didn't look up.
"I was, or they were?" I said glancing down at my chest. Tony hired me on the spot after the interview. Ah there it was, he finally looked up.
"They're nice yes, but you were the right age to get along with everyone. Not too old not too young. Statistically speaking we needed another female, and you had all the right connections." He looked back down at his phone. "Plus, I really did read your resume believe it or not, you seemed like a good fit."
"That makes sense," I said before flipping the chicken breasts over and seasoning the other side. I didn't really know what else to say, I had my answer.
"Listen here Kitten," I had a love-hate relationship with that nickname, "If you don't like what we have been doing we can stop. I don’t want you to feel obligated or pressured ever. I want you to want this too. I'm going to go join them downstairs, let us know when lunch is ready.” Tony gave my cheek a quick kiss, ruffled my hair and left the room. Other than the chicken sizzling on the pan the room was completely silent,
I didn't really mind being alone, especially when living here, there were so many people sometimes it was hard to find a quiet moment.
I was trying to focus on anything apart from Tony, but I was struggling. I didn't like him, not like that anyway. The sex was good, he is very attractive, and well it's not like I had a boyfriend or anything. It was just good sex. For me anyway, I couldn't help but wonder how he felt especially after seeing how jealous he got after seeing me with Bucky.
By the time I was finished with lunch it was already nearly 2, I grabbed the trays, one stacked full with buffalo chicken ranch wraps, and the second with prepackaged baggies of carrots and celery. I went to the elevator and went down to where they all trained.
Coming down to the training area was always a little uncomfortable because I felt out of place. I wasn’t super fit, I certainly couldn’t fight. I wasn’t a huge fan of working out. I felt like a weed in a patch of daisies. On the other hand, there was always a nice view.
I set the trays on a table and stood watching them blocking hits and striking each other. I didn't know how they did this for hours. Maybe they don't, I wasn't down here often, I didn't know what all they did to train. I turned to walk away but was called over "y/n!" I peeked up and realized it was Steve who called me.
I walked to where he and Bucky stood and just looked at them waiting for one of them to say something instead of just grinning. "You should learn to defend yourself," Steve finally said.
"Come again?" I asked very confused. It was like he could read my thoughts.
"Working for us, you know we come into contact with a lot of bad people, you should know how to defend yourself. Every girl should, regardless of their job," Bucky shrugged smiling.
"I do know how" I informed them in a matter-of-fact tone. Amusement made its way to their faces. "I know I'm not very big but it's true." I wasn't big, I wasn't tall anyway, average girl height, which made me the shortest person in the house, and I wasn't fat, nor thin, just average. I was an average sized person living with super soldiers, so yeah, I seemed short.
"Show me then," Steve chuckled. "Turn away from Bucky and defend yourself.”
I shrugged "okay fine, but no super soldier strength, I'm not like Steve, my pain tolerance is way lower," I reminded him, I was afraid of getting hurt. I was a big wuss when it came to pain.
I turned away from Bucky and I felt him wrap his arms around me lifting me from the floor, it was a strange feeling. I hadn't ever been this close to him - so I don't think I ever really realized just how different his metal arm feels against my skin in comparison to his normal one, not bad just different.
Bucky had me off the ground, both arms wrapped around me, we were both facing the same direction. It was okay though; I knew exactly what to do. "Sorry Bucky," I muttered before I heard him chuckle. I swung my leg backwards as hard as I could kicking his knee making him buckle just enough that I could kick him in between his legs. I felt him loosen his grip and lean down slightly. Just enough that my feet were on the ground, which gave me an advantage. I wiggled arm free and used it to elbow him in the face I was very careful not to do it too hard, not wanting to genuinely hurt him. Although I probably shouldn’t have been worried about that. I quickly ran behind him and kicked at his already buckled knees, making him go completely to the floor, on his stomach, I then grabbed his metal arm and held it backwards on his back so he couldn't move. I released a breath I hadn't realized I had been holding when I noticed everyone was staring at me. Completely dumbfounded. I was aware that I took a couple of cheap shots and had Bucky had his guard up completely, I wouldn’t have been able to do that.
"Yeah! Girl power woo!" I heard Nat yell and start clapping.
"There's one thing you forgot doll,” Bucky murmured from under me.
"And what's that?" I asked.
"You should've pinned the other arm" he stated calmly as he used his metal arm which I was holding down with my knee and flung me off of him and off of the mat as well. I hit the hard wood floor, shoulder first. Ouch.
"Barnes!" I heard Tony yell as he rushed over
"Oh god y/n I'm so sorry, so sorry I didn't mean to throw you so hard," Bucky scrambled over and helped me up.
"No no, I'm good it didn't even hurt. It's fine, really." I tried to smile but it did actually really hurt.
"Let's take a lunch break" Tony said, seemingly irritated.
They got into a line and grabbed their food, and everyone essentially paired off while they sat and ate. Everyone liked everyone, but they had their best friends, or their groups.
I was sitting next to Bucky and Steve, which they insisted upon, both probably feeling bad.
"Where did you learn that by the way?" Steve said shoving basically half a wrap into his mouth
"Oh the pinning thing? A college seminar on self-defense," I smiled "We did the most likely scenarios a female would be attacked from, none of my 'attackers' had a ridiculously strong metal arm though." I rolled my eyes.
"I really am sorry. I wasn't thinking about how close the mat was to ending and I wasn't thinking about how far you would go." Bucky looked sad, I really wasn't mad though.
"It's cool, it really didn't hurt that bad." I lied. It did hurt. Like really bad.
"Steve!" I looked and saw Nat waving him over, she was sat with Clint laughing. She winked at me. Hm?
"Be right back guys," Steve walked away leaving Bucky and I sat alone.
"I really didn't mean to hurt you," He said once again.
"Bucky it really is okay, eat your lunch" I noticed he hadn't even touched it. Even though he is the one who wanted me to make that.
"I know that hurt, I saw the look on your face," he picked at his food "I'm not really hungry now."
"Hey, I wouldn't be sitting here if I had an issue with you. Or was afraid you would hurt me," I put my hand on his thigh reassuringly.
He gave me a weak smile before finally taking a bite of his food. "This is so good," he said with his mouth completely stuffed with food.
I looked up over and saw Tony staring intently at us. He tilted his head in a way that told me he was trying to get me to come over to him, I ignored him however and looked at Bucky. He had some ranch in the corner of his mouth.
"You've got a little uh," I laughed before swiping my finger across his lip. I scooted closer to him.
I flirted with Bucky knowing full well that Tony was watching and was not happy at all. I kept glancing over watching his scowl increase more and more.
-
That night we decided to watch a movie, I sat on a love seat squished between Steve and Bucky. Nat and Clint leaned on one another on the couch with Sam sitting next to them. Tony sat alone in a recliner chair, and Thor was on the floor. The only two who didn't join us was Wanda and Vision, they seemed to prefer to be alone together. Nobody was surprised when they said they would rather go to the sleeping quarters.
"I've got an idea" Tony said smirking "Instead of watching a movie we have seen on multiple occasions, let's play truth or dare," his eyes lit up looking in my direction.
"That could be fun" Clint interjected
I was apprehensive. I didn't want to play, “or we could watch a movie we haven't seen."
"I don't think Lady y/n wants to play," Thor suggested. He got that right.
"Got some secrets you'd rather keep private Kitten?" Tony raised an eyebrow at me. What was he doing?
"I don't really want to play either..." Nat murmured backing me up.
"I agree with Clint though, it could be fun. Maybe just a couple rounds?" Sam asked
After a lot of back and forth we finally just agreed to play.
"I'll go first!" Tony offered "Kitten, truth or dare?"
"Truth." I said eyeing him cautiously
"No dare? Afraid?"
"Of your intentions." I spat out defensively
He scoffed before continuing, "Fine. Have it your way. Have you ever slept with someone on the team?" He smiled looking proud of himself. Oh. I see that's how this is going to be? I can play too.
"You do not have to answer that," Nat half-shouted.
"That's how the game works! We can't just not answer the questions we don't want to; it wouldn't be any fun that way," Clint argued.
"But that's-" Nat started but I interrupted her
"It's fine.” I sighed before answering, “Yes, I have." I felt everyone looking at me curiously. "That makes it my turn, right? Great Bucky truth or dare?"
"Dare," he said without even thinking twice.
"I dare you to kiss me," I watched a smile form on his face I looked at Tony and shot him a 'that's what you get' sort of look right before Bucky kissed me. It didn't last long, but just long enough that when I turned back, I saw Tony's jaw clench.
"So, uh. My turn?" Bucky muttered, "uh Steve truth or dare"
"Dare, but I'm not kissing you," Steve stated, making everyone laugh.
"Drink a glass of water while standing on your hands!" Bucky mused.
"That's not possible! I'm just going to make a huge mess!" Steve protested. Bucky just shrugged in response.
Sam jumped up and ran to kitchen returning with a nearly full glass of water, he handed it off to Steve. Sure enough Steve stood on his hands with the glass to the left of him. Steve very slowly lifted one hand up and continued to balance himself, when he tipped the cup, it went all over his face. He started coughing and stood back up water coming out of his nose. Steve turned himself right side up still sputtering water out.
"Are you happy?" Steve laughed but also kind of coughed at the same time. "My turn?" He situated himself on the couch. "Thor truth or Dare?"
"Dare, I am no coward," Thor stated proudly.
"Let the girls cut your hair then."
"ABSOLUTELY NOT," Thor boomed, "Nobody touches my hair."
"That’s how the game works," Sam informed him teasingly.
We ended up making a compromise and only styled his hair, a French braid. The rounds continued, up until everyone had went at least twice. We all eventually headed towards the sleeping quarters.
Before I had the chance to head to my room, I felt Tony yank me away from the others and he stood there waiting for everyone else to leave. Nobody even noticed I wasn't with them still, except Steve he looked at me as if asking if I needed help. I just gave him a thumbs up and he carried on to his room.
"What was that shit you pulled with Barnes?" Tony snipped, anger looming in his voice.
"YOU started it," I informed him.
"Come in here," Tony opened the door to his room and shut it, probably just to ensure that nobody could hear us. "How did I start it? You started it when you started making goo-goo eyes at Barnes!"
"I don't make goo-goo eyes," I sighed before running my hands through my hair. "I really don't appreciate you basically telling everyone I slept with you."
"They don't know who I was referring to. They do however now understand that you are not available and that was the goal," he stepped closer to me. Nope, nuh uh. I was not doing this tonight. "Tell me Kitten, why have you been trying so hard to make me jealous with Barnes?" He got even closer, his body pressed up against mine.
"I uh- wasn't.”
"I know you were provoking me, now tell me.” He whispered into my ear before lightly sucking on my neck. I'll admit it. I was putty in his hands.
"The sex was so much hotter when you were jealous," I finally breathed out.
"Mm, was it? Good thing I've got some more in store for you tonight then"
That was the one down fall to living here, Tony had me wrapped around his finger. But I really didn't care...
Letters To A Soldier Part 1. Bucky Barnes x Reader FanFic
Prologue:
My life was normal, my life was set out for me. The same way my mothers, and my grandmothers was. I was to mind my manners, be smart, and stay thin and beautiful. I would marry a wealthy man; a merger of sorts would occur. I would be kind and gracious. I would have kids, if I had a daughter, she would do the same. That's just how it was for wealthy girls in Manhattan. We were pawns.
My father made his money dealing in realty. He was a top-notch businessman who owned half of Brooklyn, (literally half), as well as a good chunk of Manhattan. He was one of the wealthiest men in New York, an even wealthier man than him however was Edward Hammer. I had been courting his son Charles, for as long as I could remember. Rich marries rich and gets richer, daddy would always say.
I didn't mind much though, I loved Charles, he was charming and funny and smart. He wasn't so bad on the eyes either. A tall broad man with chocolate brown hair and golden-brown eyes. We were a match made in heaven.
I did always wonder what would happen if I was raised differently. If I was given the choice as to who I would wed. Life is too short for what if's though.
Charles proposed to me about 6 months ago, and in just a few more months’ time I would become Y/n Hammer. I was excited and nervous all at once, I was excited to marry the love of my life, but terrified to become a Hammer, that name carried a stigma with it. A toe could never be stepped out of line, or they would practically disown you. Talk about pressure.
Being me came with its perks however, especially with how hard the war was hitting the country. I never had to worry about where my next meal would come from, I never had to worry about if my husband would be drafted. Money could fix just about any problem. Every day felt like a Friday. A weekend filled with endless opportunities.
-
I absolutely adored Friday nights. While you can party any night, Fridays were my favorite because there was just a different aura in the air. Everyone was happy and prepared for a good time knowing that they don't have to go work the next day.
Tonight, I was going dancing with my best gal Barbra, her squeeze William, another friend of mine Nancy - her man Richard, and of course my husband-to-be, Charles. I preferred to stay in Manhattan, however Charles always insisted we went to Brooklyn. He said it was because the people of Manhattan were better at letting lose, I knew however he liked a woman that frequented the dance hall he liked. I would never dare to say anything about it.
Tonight, was no different from any other Friday night, we all sat in our usual booth, the boys all drinking and laughing way too loud, while us girls sort of whispered our gossip back and forth. "Did you hear that Darla, the one with the teeth went all the way with that skeevy grocery clerk on 5th?" Nancy murmured to us as she motioned to her own teeth.
My eyes widened in disbelief, "but why? Isn't she married?" I laughed and shook my head.
"I guess she always had feelings for him, and he was drafted to the war," Nancy replied letting out a loud sigh. The war had everyone down.
I shook my head. I was grateful to have been born a woman, I couldn't imagine being drafted. Just the thought of that terrified me, even though I knew I would never be, and could never be.
"Little Timmy got drafted too" Charles said overhearing our conversation, he wrapped his right arm around me while taking a massive gulp of his drink with his left.
"That is a damn shame! I liked him!" Richard chuckled.
"Well, it was nice knowing him!" William said loudly, followed by a ridiculous number of cackles from all three men. I just looked at Barb and shrugged.
"You should respect those that serve!" I heard a voice yell from the booth in front of us.
Charles stood up and peered into the booth the voice came from and then began laughing, "or what little guy? You going to fight me?" I tugged on Charles jacket asking him to stop
"If that's what I will take for you to show some respect," the voice firmly replied.
"Out of my way," Richard sneered as he stood up, which made all of us get out so he could. When I got out, I looked to the booth and realized that the voice came from a very small man sitting in the booth alone. He couldn't have been much taller than me, and probably weighed less.
"Let's take this outside, shall we gentlemen?" William said peering at his friends, a smug grin plastered on their faces.
They all laughed and headed for the door, followed by the small man. I grabbed Charles and pulled him back. "Please don't do this," I pleaded knowing that all three of those men, versus that little guy was certainly not going to end well.
"He's questioning our manhood. Plus, maybe this will show him a thing or two about respect," he grinned before following the others outside.
I looked at my friends for help. "We have to stop them," I pleaded in an uncomfortably whiny tone.
"Honey, last time I tried to break Richard out of a fight, I ended up with a black eye. I am not intervening," Nancy shrugged empathetically, cringing slightly at the memory.
"Barb?" I asked hopefully.
"You know I've got your back, always have." She smiled holding out her hand. I happily took it and followed her outside.
At first, we had no idea which way they went, that was until we heard the laughing. We ran over to an alley where we saw all three of them looking down on the poor little guy kicking and pouring drinks on him. I couldn't help it was furious.
I stomped over there, Barb’s hand still in my own - only to let it go when we were close enough. "Charles Theodore Hammer, enough is enough!" I shouted hands balled up into little fists. Fighting was one thing – this was assault. 3 against one wasn’t a fair fight even with a average sized man.
"Oooh, looks like you've got yourself a wild one!" William laughed clasping his hand on Charles’ shoulder.
"No seriously Will, knock it off. You've hurt the kid, leave him alone," Barb huffed seemingly annoyed as well.
They all looked back at each other and laughed. The boy who was previously on the ground stood up hands in the air ready for more, "I can do this all day" he breathed out, only just barely.
Richard turned back to the boy "Oh yeah?" he hit him square in the jaw knocking him to the floor.
"Stop!" I pleaded tears in my eyes, I was terrified they were going to kill him.
I heard footsteps from behind me followed by a "Hey! That's enough!" I turned to see a tall very handsome man with dark hair with light eyes walking towards us.
"Or what?" Charles asked as he poured the remainder of his beer on the man lying on the floor.
The tall man punched Charles on the side of his face knocking him to the side. I watched as the other two headed towards the tall man.
"For God's sake stop it!" I shouted, "just let him take his friend and go!" I could feel the steam pouring out of me. I just wanted this to be over. While a loved a good Friday night this is not what I had in mind.
William and Richard looked at each other and backed off. I imagine it had nothing to do with me, but more because they didn't want to fight someone who actually stood a chance. Charles was rubbing his jaw and cheekbone obviously annoyed. I watched the tall man help his much smaller friend up and they began to walk away, the tall one turned and glanced at Barb and myself.
"You dames are too beautiful to be hanging with these jerks," he quipped giving us a sympathetic smile and then leaving.
"Let's go Barb," I muttered leaving the 3 men in the alley.
Stuck Part 1. Reader x Bucky Barnes x Tony Stark FanFic
I stepped into the elevator and went down to the main floor. I let out a sigh as I looked around at the mess I had to clean up. Cups lay askew on the floor, throw pillows across the room. I began to tidy up picking things up as I came across them. I walked over to the kitchen and started some waffles cooking then went back to picking up various beer cans and trash. I looked behind the couch and to my surprise there laid the biggest mess I had come across yet. A large shirtless man passed out. I shook my head stifling a giggle. Thor.
Thor was out cold, he had "Princess of Thunder" written on his chest in marker, a plastic tiara placed in his incredibly tangled hair, and a large metal mug gripped in his right hand. It looked as though it was at least partly filled.
I debated if I should allow him to keep sleeping or try to make him get up. The waffle maker beeped making my decision for me. I went back into the kitchen and took the waffles that just finished out and began a fresh batch.
So, I imagine you are probably wondering why exactly am I cleaning up this leftover party mess? It’s my job. I am essentially the Avenger’s tower caretaker. I cook and clean for the Avengers. It comes with its perks, but it also has its downfalls. For example, partying with them last night was a blast, cleaning up after the mess however? Not so much. While there are days I hate my job, for the most part I love it. In all honesty I didn’t know what exactly I was applying for when I interviewed. My dad takes great pride in all his contacts, one of which is Happy Hogan - who mentioned they were having a hard time finding somebody who would stay longer than a few weeks and could actually cook something that they would eat. Naturally my dad decided I would be the perfect fit because I am stubborn and took a year of culinary school. He took the liberty of setting up the interview for me.
The stack of waffles was growing taller and taller, as was the pile of garbage that needed to be taken out. Before I had the chance to take it out, I noticed the first two making their way down the stairs, Steve and Bucky. Shirtless Steve and Bucky. Yet another perk. I tore my eyes away from them and back to the waffle maker.
"Morning y/n, want me to take the trash out?" Steve smiled walking over to me, placing his hand on my shoulder.
"Yes please," I said without looking up. Since Steve and I are friends now, he said it made him feel bad that I was the one who had to clean up the party mess that everyone contributed to. I didn’t mind much however; it was my job after all.
One by one the Avengers began to work their way into the kitchen, grabbing a plate, piling it with food and then sitting at the table. By the time I finished cooking, Thor woke up on his own and wandered over to the food. I had to stifle a small laugh at his appearance. The tiara tangled in his hair really did it for me.
"Thank you, Lady y/n” he grabbed what was left of the waffles and headed for the table. I began the dishes and just a few moments later Bucky walked over.
"They were delicious thank you" he smiled helping me rinse the remaining dishes and load them in the dishwasher.
"Anytime," I looked up into his gorgeous blue eyes. Those eyes. I could easily look at them all day, but they were also intimidating.
I wouldn't say it out loud but I kind of had a thing for the mystery man. The only person who really knew about it was Natasha, she was one of my closest friends in the house. I wasn’t too certain why I was drawn to Bucky. I didn’t know too much about him. Yeah, he was attractive - but there’s just something about him that made me want to know more. Unfortunately, that’s not an easy feat. All attempts to befriend him have fallen flat. Every now and then he would throw a flirty line my way, or say something personal – but if I reciprocated, he completely threw a wall up blocking me out.
"You're making lunch today?" Bucky questioned raising an eyebrow.
"Mhm, I make lunch every day…” I playfully rolled my eyes.
"A couple weeks ago, you didn't make lunch," he said in a -matter-of-fact tone.
I stared blankly at him for a moment before shaking my head, "that's because I was recovering after you dared me to drink an entire glass of Thor's Asgardian liquor! I almost died!" I laughed and put the last of dishes into the dish washer. "Unless you're planning to send me on another suicide mission then yes. I am making lunch today."
"I didn't know that would happen!" He chuckled; his eyes crinkled up - he put me in absolute ecstasy. "Those spicy chicken tortilla wraps you make?" I nodded knowing what he was referring to, "if you could make those for lunch, I would be forever indebted to you."
"You already are,” I smirked jokingly.
"Oh, but I would be beyond grateful…” his voice teetered off sending an army of goosebumps down my arms.
My cheeks flushed red, and I shook my head, “yeah I can make those for lunch.”
Before Bucky could say anything else we were interrupted.
"Are you two quite finished? I think you've got some training to do Barnes," I looked over and saw Tony standing there with his arms crossed staring at us.
Bucky gave me a quick smile before disappearing down the hall towards the elevator.
"Did they save me any breakfast?" Tony walked towards me looking at the nearly bare counter.
"No, but there's still plenty of fruit," I pushed the bowl towards him, but not before first grabbing a banana, slowly peeling it and placing it in my mouth while staring directly at him.
"Knock it-" he was interrupted by an influx of Avengers stacking their dishes by the sink and heading in the same direction Bucky had went.
"Thanks y/n! Could you do omelets tomorrow?" Clint yelled at me as he walked away.
I had just swallowed my first bite of banana when I shouted back, "of course!"
Sam and Steve were standing behind me at the sink discussing the strengths of resilience training versus cardio. I was still leaning against the counter facing Tony. I continued to slowly eat my banana staring directly at him. I felt incredibly silly, but he looked flustered.
"Y/n, I need to talk to you about your contract," he stated in a stern voice.
I rolled my eyes, yeah sure.
"Wait you're not firing her, are you?" I heard a voice say from behind me. I turned and both Steve and Sam were staring at him.
"No not at all," Tony said. “I just have to have her sign some paperwork, so she doesn’t have a lapse in her health insurance.”
Satisfied with his answer the two resumed their conversation as I followed Tony into the elevator. He didn’t say a word nor did I. After the elevator I followed him into his room. The second the door closed he gently pushed me up against the wall.
"You think you're cute? Hm? Teasing me like that?" he questioned his face only inches from my own, "and what was that with Barnes? You're mine." His lips crashed roughly onto my own sending waves of warmth flowing through my body.
Tony and I have been hooking up since shortly after I started working here. It was simple, no strings attached, no drama. Nobody knew. Sometimes I felt like Nat might, but if she did - she never mentioned anything.
"I think you should be punished, don't you?" one of his hands began gently grazing my skin. Starting at my collar bone and working its way lower and lower, but never actually touching me.
"Please Tony," I whimpered. I wanted more, I needed more.
"I'm sorry - what was that? I can't seem to hear you,” he hummed into my ear.
"Please!" I said a little louder knowing everyone else was downstairs training and they couldn’t hear me.
"Tell me you're mine,” he demanded before kissing my neck, teeth gently nibbling on my tender skin.
"Are you jealous Stark?" I whispered somewhat amused. "Worried I'm going to run off with a super soldier and you're going to be stuck with your hand again?" I stuck my bottom lip out pretending to pout before smirking.
"Have it your way then," he bit his lip and guided me to the bed before crawling on top of me.
A/N: Hi everyone! This it the first part in a MANY part fit I wrote. Some of you may have read it on wattled when I originally posted it 3 years ago. I have since updated and am rewriting it since it was incredibly cringey and toxic. I hope you all enjoy!
