(The UK’s just-published Chilcot Iraq war report .. story here)
Super quick doodle comic done over breakfast about my feelings on the current state of things.
SPIN - The lord of the dark arts returns in the wake of the Chilcot Report to give a true master class in bullshit.
Tony Blair speeches always amaze me: even though you know he’s full of shit you still believe him when he’s talking.
If he hadn’t become Prime Minister he probably could have had a great career in Ponzi schemes or selling dodgy vacuum cleaners to pensioners.

National Xenophobia Awareness Day is a day for shining light into the darkness of ignorance. It is to be celebrated each year on June 23 (funnily enough falling on the same day as the British electorate voted in favour of leaving the European Union).
The campaign leading to the Brexit vote was generally devoid of facts and clarity, with Michael Gove stating early on that we’d all had enough of experts.
The campaigns focused on creating and abusing fears among the general population about foreign migrants and smartly decided to omit spreading information about the many benefits of EU membership and the many positive things that we have in common with our fellow humans from across the sea.
So next year on June 23, instead of celebrating Britain’s “Independence Day”, instead observe National Xenophobia Awareness Day and help reduce ignorance in our society.

A day for sharing facts and destroying ignorance.
