It's been a week since Zade found Adeline and her trauma is worse than he thought.
It's been a week since I found Adeline and returned her back to Parson's Manor. The entire ride home, she was shaking from the cold and fear that had been injected into her from the three months she spent in that hellhole. It took every bit of strength of me to hold back on finding every one of those fuckers and shoot them point blank between the eyes. I needed to make sure my girl was safely home first. She was my top priority, and seeking revenge on the monsters that did this to her could wait.
Adeline is in her room, currently resting. Her body is taking its time to heal, the various cuts turning to scars and scabs and her body regaining its strength. She told me they barely fed her and that her body had been used in every single way. I didn't need her to tell me that to know it. I know what they did to her. I've dealt with the skint trade for years now; I'm not an ammature. Her mental trauma is just as bad as her physical trauma, and it will take time for her to adjust.Â
Jay had just popped around, updating me on security and our now quest for finding these fuckers. He had handed me a bouquet of flowers to give to Addie—a beautiful bunch of pale pink and white roses, unlike my deep red ones I would give to her while I stalked her in the beginning. I thanked him, asking him to update me as soon as he had any other information. He nodded and left, leaving us be. He didn't want to intrude too much and give Addie anymore fear. She was fragile right now, and it was going to take time before she could be around so many people.Â
I trudged up the stairs with the bouquet in my hand, my boots thumping on the wooden floors, and as I reached the bedroom, I softly opened it, slipping into the bedroom. Addie shot up with sweat dripping down her face, her eyes wide and lips quivering. another nightmare. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â They hadn't stopped and probably wouldn't for the rest of her life. The nightmares were de ja vu of her time at the house; unable to escape them, screaming in her sleep and thrasing around, she was forced to wake and come back to reality.Â
She turned in a panic, looking for me, gripping the sheets tightly in her fists, concealing her body. She was dressed in silky pyjamas, her tender arms peeking under the fabric, and the bruises were slowly fading, now turning to an ugly yellow-green splodge on her skin.Â
"Zade," she whispered, and I placed the flowers on the bedside table, climbing onto the bed. In no matter of a few seconds, she had climbed onto my lap, fully wrapping herself around me, clinging on to me as if I were being ripped away from her, her arms circling my waist and latching her fingers together, her head on my shoulder as tears started to pour down her cheeks, her whimpers and cries quite but there. I gasped at the suddenness of her gripping herself into me and instantly wrapped my arms around her to comfort her.Â
"Shhh, I'm here, little mouse; no one is going to take you away." I whipser into her, and she grips me even tighter. She's afraid she'll be dragged away at anytime I'm not there, and as much as I enjoy having her wrapped around me like a baby sloth to their mother, the circumstances aren't what I would have liked. She can't bear being on her own anymore, the fear that Roco, Francasesa, or Xavier are around the corner waiting for me to leave and then snatch her up again and take her back to her torture.Â
When I get my hands on all three of them, I am going to make them bleed, slowly and painfully. I am going to make them wish they had never been born. and it's not just those three I'm looking for. Rio is also on my list, the fucker that adbucted her, forced her into this life, and abused her just like the others. We've haven't spoken much about them since coming home, and I don't expect Addie to. That last thing she wants to do is talk about her abusers and how I'm going to hunt every last one of them down and kill them. but there will be a time where I need information from her.Â
Most likely they are in hiding at the moment, trying to escape because they know I'll be looking for them. And of course another name on my list is Claire, the fucking bitch that started this whole thing. I can't decide who I want to torture more. Right now, the one I want the most is Xavier. The dirty fucker thought he could have my girl and make her suffer, forcing her into an ownership where he gets off on cutting her and fucking her in her blood.Â
The only person to make her suffer and bleed will be me. Claire's idea to sell Addie directly to Xavier was smart, knowing I'd be trying to track down the auction and sellers. She's a cunning little thing and knows what I'll do to get my girl back. I can't help but think if I had taken longer in finding Addie, she wouldn't be here with me right now; she'd be with that disgusting piece of shit, forced to be his slave for the rest of her life, and the thought makes my heart clench.Â
But she's here, with me, in my arms, gripping me so tightly that my breathing becomes difficult, and I can't even blame her. She's scared, and so she should be. It will take a long time for her to recover, and I will be there every step of the way.Â
"I thought you were gone," she eventually whispers, and I clutch the back of her head, pressing myself into her and shush her gently.Â
"No, baby, I'm not going anywhere. Jay came to talk; he brought you flowers; he wanted to check on how you were doing," I say, and I feel her smile.
"That was nice of him," she murmurs.Â
I turn and gently kiss her cheek, my lips lingering there for a long time, and I feel her tense. She hasn't had my touch in three months, and she's still fragile when it comes to it. not because my touch scares her but because anyone's touch does. Her mind is always taken back to her time in that house—how those pieces of shit bastards touched her and held her with their dirty hands, disgusting tongues, and sickly breath. Her scars are tender, and when I first saw the two large scars on her back, my eyes filled with rage. The small ones are a reminder of Xavier and his kink for cutting. She flinches when I run my hand over one on her arm, and I remove my hand from there. I'm slowly testing the waters with her, seeing what she reacts to.Â
We haven't moved for at least fifteen minutes, and when I go to remove her from me, she grips me even tighter, and I sigh. I dont want to take her off me, but I need to at the same time. I need a piss, and I can't with her snuggled around me like a bear climbing a tree.Â
"Addie, baby, as much as I'm enjoying this, I need a piss," I tell her, and she reluctantly removes herself from me, wiping at her tired eyes and puffy nose. She looks adorable when she's been crying, but knowing the reason why she's been crying doesn't make this any better. I cup her face, and she tenses but realises it's me and relaxes in my hand. I lean over and kiss her puffy lips, and she breathes deeply. She's trying not to flinch, but I know that every kiss burns her like fire.Â
"I'll be back in a second," I assure her and climb off the bed, racing to the bathroom. My skin is hot from her tight embrace, and I feel a shiver run down my spine as her body is no longer there. I've never pissed more fast in my life than I have just now, and after quickly washing my hands, I'm back there on the bed, and she's there in my lap, clutching me. I sigh again, running my hand soothenily up and down her back to calm her nerves and thoughts. She's terrified, and her PTSD will consume her for years to come.Â
But I will be there for every second of it. I will not let these nightmares take over her life. I will make sure her revenge is achieved; I will kill every last person that has seen her, touched her, and tortured her whilst she was in that house. I don't need to tell her that I'm currently searching for them. She already knows.
I lean back against the bed, pulling the blanket on top of us to keep her warm, and her head settles into my chest, under my chin. She softly sighs and tucks herself in tighter, closing her eyes, and it doesn't take long for her to fall asleep. She's so tired, and I can't help but think she would stay up all night at that house because she feared someone would come in when she was asleep, at her most vulnerable, and cause her pain.Â
I was surprised to hear she had killed another girl there, Sydney. She sounded like a right-bitch from what the other girls told me, and I'm rather proud of my girl. one less person for me to hunt. Jay is currently tracking the locations of all of them, and the second he gets a pin, I'm going to head there and do what needs to be done.Â
But for now, I'm going to lay with my little mouse, comforting her and soothing her, keeping her safe. She won't leave this house, and she won't let me leave either. and frankly, I don't want to. I spent too much time away from my girl, and I'm not letting her go. She will never be taken away from me again, and I mean it.Â
I hear her light snores and breaths, and I tuck my hand into her hair, pulling it back from her ear to whisper to her.Â
"I love you, little mouse.".
Hey, so I just finished reading Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline and I fucking loved it. I listened to the audiobook and oh my god, Teddy Hamiltons voice for Zade was perfection, I highly recommend listening to it. I wrote this little fanfic base on Addie's trauma and how she's trying to deal with it and Zade comforting her so I hope you like it.

I wanted to come on here and post about something that's recently happened to me and make others aware.
Firstly, my blog that I had for a couple of years Sebstan2020 had been terminated a few weeks ago. I was so annoyed because I had built this blog with all my works, loads of followers, likes, posts, you name it and it's just gone. I've contacted support twice and no response.
In the meantime I had a second blog already kind of like a back up blog and posted on there, Sebstan2022 to let others know what had happened to my blog, unfortunately I couldn't remember all my followers or tag list but tried to inform as many as I could remember. I didn't have much on that blog and had put a couple posts up since my first termination. Now this blog has been taken down too!!!
I'm really annoyed because there's been no email as to why it's been taken down, no support from Tumblr, no reason to why there's been a termination and when I try and contract support, no one replies.
I have to say the support for Tumblr is shit and I hope they see this because how can you remove someone's blog without giving a reason. I always made sure to put warnings on my work and mature content if necessary.
I'm debating whether to start again because I took me forever to get the blog the way I wanted it, for people to follow my stories and to be honest I much prefer AO3 set up to stories. It's easier to update chapters
I just thought to spread the word and make people aware this happened to me and I'm hoping to reach out to Tumblr for them to read this and give me an explanation
