Dragon striker is absolutely the coolest cartoon ive watched all year and will remain so, like i genuinely can't think of anything topping this show!!!
Favorite thing about the show.... Ssyelle and also Ssyelle, and finally Ssyelle.
All joking aside she was absolutely my favorite character, she was just an amazing leader. It feels like I haven't encountered a female character like her in a long time, she's just so dependable.
Ssyelle as a character is calm and collected when it comes to understanding the emotions of her friends, she doesn't jump to conclusions. She's not always calm (shes actually quite competitive), she just know when and when not to raise to the bait. She's mature but not weirdly mature, she's also super smart but not a genius. She's the best choice to lead the team because of the balance and stability she provides both on and off the field.
The story and the animation are absolutely amazing, extra props to the animation for leaving me breathless!
Key as a main character is very interesting, he's struggling with his dragon power but still manages to stay positive for the most part and inspire others around him. I loved his brief interaction with skadi who he encouraged during the banner competition. Loved seeing him come to the defense of milo despite not knowing him. He's a very bold character, and I like that he's emotional. A lot of the characters are.
Gotta mention the bond between Ssyelle and key because it was one of the best parts of the cartoon. I loved seeing how much they trust each other and how it came so naturally to them. I loved that Ssyelle was willing to give up her dream because of how much faith she has in key. I appreciate how similar and different they both are.
The team as a whole is amazing, they're each unique and different, and all contributes something to the story as well as the game. Loved how much they cared about each other and the moments where they encouraged each other. Especially with Ssyelle and Ameline!
Speaking of ameline she gave so much cuteness aggression!!! I loved her, she was so weird and adorable. Also she had little Kirby powers, she's the best! I also think its cute that you can see how protective the other knights are of her, even odward
I really enjoyed Milo, I like character like he. Character that are really scared and unmotivated, I like these characters because you can see how much they grow and change in the story. I also like his relationship with key, and I also hope his relationship with his brother continues to improve.
I love all of their powers, but odward absolutely has my favorite ability!!! He's so cool!
I liked seeing how much he grew as a person, and I loved how complex his character is. He's got a lot going on especially when he broke up with his bf in episode 3, lol. I was like... why does it sound like casper and odward are having a break up scene? Jk... then they started crying. I was gagged. Like are they...💅 (yes). Their relationship was crazy! That scene in the last ep where we see flashbacks of them together while also seeing them battle on different sides... im gonna throw up!!! How dare they!
With that being said by the end of the show the bard twins, sunspear (the coach), and Mara had become my enemies. I kid you not everytime Casper showed up on screen (always doing something dumb) I would literally yell this is why you're single!!! However enemy number one is Mara like how dare she hurt Ameline?!??
Aaaghhh!!!! The story is sooo good! I enjoyed everything about it and I adored our little team. I also liked all of the character designs, like the shadow team with pregrina they all looked soooo cool, unfortunately they were really mean lol. I need more!
