I created a 3D model and floor plan of Aziraphale’s bookshop in Good Omens!

I really wanted one for reference and it seemed like many others did too, so I put together my best approximation of where everything is. Beneath the color version, you’ll see I’ve included two simplified, labeled versions of the plan. The verbal labels are so you know what the object is. The numerical labels are there to make it easy to find more information about the object. I’ve put a numbered index below the cut that features the relevant reference images I used for each object and some more information about why I put it where I did/why it’s relevant/etc. I want to be very clear that I did not add anything to this from my own imagination; every single item and feature represents something I actually saw in the shop.

If you have any questions or want more information about this, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask! I put so much time into figuring it out and I would be more than happy to be a resource for anyone who needs it. Also, if you notice any errors, let me know and I’ll update the post. I hope this is helpful!

Update 2: Here’s a higher quality rendering of the first person perspective! Update 3: I made an alternate first person render here complete with a ceiling, light fixtures, and ambient lighting from outside. This one is optimized for making it seem more like you’re actually there, whereas the previous one is for maximum visibility. This render also has some minor accuracy improvements, which are detailed under the cut in the relevant sections. (The first interactive link with the birds-eye view updates automatically.) i love this so much. also, it kinda supports my headcanon about what’s on the upper floor. if you go up the spiral stairs, then you come to another floor of books, both of which you can see in the show. BUT, if you find your way to the very back of the shop, there is a door (there is!!), and behind that door is an ordinary staircase, and that brings you up to the flat over the shop. so they magically both occupy the same space, but you have to be aziraphale, or maybe crowley, to access the flat.

mike has, so far, never been to the upside down. almost all of the mcs have but he hasn’t. the upside down is, essentially, the root of all of will’s trauma - and the thing that could slowly take away his humanity if he let it.

what if mike is, for will, a tether/anchor to the real world. mike was always the one to snap will out of his trances in s2, mike was the one (w joyce) who didn’t let hawkins give up on will, the only one of will’s friends in the shed. even when everyone thought will was dead, mike refused to give up. linking that theory/idea of ghosts disappearing when no one remembers them in coco yk. so mike’s resilience kept will tied to the real world.

however, in vol 2, he does finally go down to the upside down. instead of seeing this as will’s humanity tether breaking, what if it’s mike allowing himself to be in touch with all of will? his best friend since kids, his dnd partner, but now a boy with powers, a boy who’s seen things he never should’ve had to, who’s been hurt in ways you can only imagine, and a boy who is queer. mike finally going into the upside down is a metaphor for him finally accepting will, and his feelings for him. and facing his own fears of his own inner battles that are similar in nature - his own upside down

the idea of mike babying will bc he’s grown up w the idea of the ‘big strong man’ taking care of ‘his girl’ or whatever. and will needed it, he needed to be taken care of like that from bullies, his dad, even himself, and of course after he was taken. and when he first met el, she needed that too. but as seasons have gone on, she hasn’t bc she’s gotten stronger w powers and also mike’s mindset is deeply misogynistic LOL. but now that will has powers like this, has saved mike, this might be what helps him realize his feelings r true bc nothing is changing abt how he feels for will despite their roles being reversed, while with el, he lost feelings for her over time as his role for her diminished

The saddest part of Venom: The Last Dance was Venom knew it was his last dance. He knew one of them would have to die and that it would never be Eddie on his watch, so he did what he could. He stalled until he couldn't anymore and while he stalled he took Eddie on the adventure of a lifetime. He danced with Mrs. Chen, went on a road trip and was able to be the hero of the story. He knew he was going to die but by god if he wasn't going to live a little first. They were the Lethal Protector, and, in the end, Venom got to protect the human and planet he loved so very much.
