“Because I am an honest human being? Well, that place is slightly saver and you could always ask Ahsoka to teach you how to fight, she is really good. Or so I heard.” He didn’t need to know that she was training - that is if Ahsoka didn’t already blurt it out to him. “But it really depends if that bird is bad, then hitting it with the bat would be fine. - What would Scott do to find out if it was supernatural? Sniff at it? It’s probably nothing, Stiles. We’re all just a little paranoid. Maybe it’s something simple as a crow or raven or maybe a nightingale.” Lydia huffed, rolling her eyes at his comment. “Maybe I as hinting at something. But it’s good to know that you love yourself, where did all that confidence come from?”
“I don’t need to learn to fight, I do just fine with my bat.” Stiles argued, shaking his head before raising his eyebrows at Lydia. “Don’t play coy Lyds, I’ve heard all about your sword fighting. Scott would do something, I don’t know, I’m not Scott.” He added with a shrug and a sigh. “”Of course I’m paranoid, I’m the only one without special powers or whatever, I have to be more careful. What are you hinting at? I have to know now. Confidence is key in new situations apparently.”
