Markiplier fans, iron lung fans, we are in crisis. Our boy Simon is currently up against GOMEZ ADDAMS. This is a tough choice for most people I know, and against most competitors I would vote Gomez without question. However, I love Markiplier, and I LOVED iron lung. So let me submit my Simon propaganda for this years contest.
1. We could get a Bloodymary duel
imagine this: it’s the final round. Both Ryland Grace and Simon have made it past the competition, and they are now facing off. It would be legendary. It would be a fandom EVENT.
2. It would be peak comedy
IMAGINE if Markiplier won #1 Tumblr sexyman 2026. Incredible. We could brag about it to the Lorax fandom AND the Undertale/Deltarune fandom. It would be so fuckin funny
3. Simon is HOT
look at that face. Look at that hair. Look at those abs. Look at those tits. This man has it all. A true piece of eye candy, no disrespect to mark. Simon is a very attractive character played by a very attractive actor
4. He’s a bit pathetic
He doesn’t really know what he’s doing, he fumbles around the environment, he apologizes to the ship when he hits it, he talks himself through things, it’s adorable. He’s endearingly pathetic
5. We could see Mark’s reaction to it
I think it would be very funny to see Mark’s reaction to having his character be named #1 Tumblr Sexyman 2026
6. Simon needs a win.
the entirety of iron lung was “Simon suffers for 2 hours straight”. Not a single good thing has happened to this poor man in his whole life. Born into a cult, arrested (potentially wrongfully), literally welded into an untested iron submarine, where he then suffers heat exhaustion, radiation poisoning, sleep deprivation, alcohol poisoning, and LITERALLY BEING TOSSED AROUND INSIDE IT BY A GIANT SEA MONSTER to name a few. He has not had a SINGLE WIN, he needs this. Gomez has a loving wife and 2-3 children to go home to, he’s winning no matter what happens in this poll cause he’s livin the life.
