You are cordially invited to the November celebration of the House of Nott - aptly named 'Nottvember'.
During Nottvember season, we embrace chaos and celebrate the creative hedonism in our fandom. That's why you'll find a mismatching list of prompts that is only vaguely coherent.
The prompts are sorted into 3 (unequal) categories:
Quotes: Your creation is your interpretation of the prompt. If you're an artist, it can be a scene or a storyboard. If you're a writer, it can be as little as 1500 to a multi-chapter epic. You don't have to include the quote in the body of the work, just as a subheading.
Setting the Scene: Your creation must sit within the framework of the prompt. The details and how the plot unfolds are up to the creator's discretion.
Opening paragraphs: These must be the opening paragraph of the work. If you're an artist, please include the paragraph before leading in with your creation. The details of the opening paragraph have been left as vague as possible (gender, relationships) except for trope establishments (hero and villain). Please amend the opening paragraph to fit the context of your narrative.
While there is no submission deadline, entries will be revealed daily from November 1st 2022.
Claiming is open! So grab a drink, show us what you've got and let the party begin...
