Looking back, I had originally thought this scene took place in the middle of night, but forgot that it was right at sunrise. This immediately changed the color scheme of the piece (some mentioned it looked refreshing!). Coming on the heels of the recent 'Pledge Our Troth' piece I did of Jude and Cardan, how is it that a simple pledge and quick peck is so much more monumental than a multi-month lead up to a wedding?

what kills me about haein and hyunwoo is that it was never the love dying between them like the people around them think.

it was them thinking that the other did not loved or care like they did for the other. it was them having these feelings that they did not know where to put, and through grief it was transformed either into resentment on hyunwoo's side or coldness on haein's.

when haein says she just wants to go home with hyunwoo at the end of episode 5........and hyunwoo saying that he should have been there by her side because that's what marriage is........it's them acknowledging that their love has ALWAYS been there......everything else just got in their way.
