Happy Christmas @tony-tony-pikachu !! Sorry your secret Santa was late, but I hope you like it!
Merry belated Christmas!!
This is for @graceofaeons for the Digimon SS! I know they wanted Michi so I did my best to draw them out. I hope it came out okay! Hope you have one epic New Year with tons of joy! ♥
Merry (really late!) Christmas, @fizzingwizard !!! I’m so sorry this came late and I hope you enjoy it! I rolled along with your prompt of ‘reluctance’ and Taichi and got intrigued by the notion of Taichi not really wanting to always be the one in charge. We see that the pressures of leadership and making sound decisions gets to him in Tri, and I’ve always appreciated that the writing kind of made this a growing anxiety, beginning from his choice in Adventure as a young child to bring Kari out to play even though she was sick. It made me appreciate Taichi’s arc a little bit more! Once again, super sorry this is late! But here it is!
Secret Santa again!
@reminiscent-afterthought
Here is your secret santa gift! I got assigned it a couple days ago and I did it as quick as I could! Having said that, I want you to be happy with it! So, If you don’t like it, PLEASE let me know and I’ll write something else!!! It was a challenge for me since i usually write couples AND humor. XD. So since those were the two things you didn’t want… XD. But I think it turned out okay. But if you don’t like it, PLEASE tell me!!! :)

Merry Christmas @hatakelemons . I was your @secretsantamon . It’s a little late for Christmas but just in time for new year. So happy new year and may 2019 be filled with happiness, love and health. I didn’t have time to scan it so I just took a photo with my phone.
sooooo @flameofswords i was your secret santa!! I wrote a little soft Kouichi/Takuya piece for you as I wait for my computer to be fixed so I can show you the actual drawing I made :,D sorry for making you wait, and Merry Christmas!!
‘‘So? do you like it?’‘
Kouichi looks up at Takuya, his friend’s smile so wide it looks like it’s going to split his face in two, and then back at the sweater lying on the table between them. He stares at it, almost as if only by the power of his eyesigh he could make it burst into flames.
‘‘It’s…… uh….. Very unique,,,’‘ he trails off. He doesn’t want to insult Takuya, but that sweater is really…Something else.
‘‘You don’t like it, is that it? I mean, I kept the receip and all if you don’t-’‘
‘‘NO!!!!’‘
Takuya jumps, startled by Kouichi’s high pitched scream, his eyes wide and mouth open in surprise at his friend’s outburst. Kouichi’s so rarely loud. The boy is standing up now, trying to come up with something to save the situation.
He looks back at the offensive piece of clothing.
It’s such an ugly shade of green, a dark shade of khaki that you find only in overused army shirts. There’s a weird looking bulldog on the front, wrapped in what Kouichi can only assume are christmas lights, because honestly they look more like snakes with pimples to him. And, to end this in beauty, a <<Feliz Naughty God>> is written in a circle around the dog, with a handwriting that’s probably from a three year old.
Kouichi can’t believe that Takuya willingly bought this. He actually took the time to go to the store, and spent REAL MONEY on this atrocity. It blows his mind.
But he also doesn’t want to hurt his friend’s feelings, especially since he went through that much trouble to give it to him. He takes a deep breath.
‘‘No, it’s…… I like it, in fact I’ll wear it right now!’‘ Kouichi says, a bit too fast if he’s being honest, as he grabs the sweater from the table. Takuya’s face lights up, and that alone seems worth putting on such a hideous shirt.
He angles his face away so that Takuya can’t see his disgust frown as he slips the sweater on top of his t-shirt, and then turns back and offers a wobbly smile to the other boy.
‘‘KOUICHI!!! It suits you!!! Green’s such a nice colour, you should wear it more often, you know!!! And!! You got the christmas spirit that way!!’‘
Kouichi imperceptively sighs as Takuya exitedly explains all the apparently <obvious> virtues of the sweater. Honestly, what he wouldn’t do for his friends.
He jumps a bit when he feels arms wrapping around his shoulders as Takuya holds him in a bone crushing hug.
‘’Thanks, Kouichi! And hey, maybe next year I could find another one so we’d like, match! That would be so cool!’‘
Kouichi stares in front of him, silent for a few seconds, and then brings his arms up to gently hug Takuya back. His friend smiles softly at him.
‘‘Yeah, that’d be great, Takuya,’‘ he whisper.
Takuya hugs him tighter as he laughs.
That sweater’s not so ugly after all, Kouichi muses. He might even like it a little.
Thank you everyone for joining this year’s Digimon Secret Santa!
While this event is over, we just wanted to say thank you to all of our participants this year! Without your guy’s kindness, we wouldn’t be able to put on an event like this every year!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays @the-chosen-child! I’m your Secret Santa! I think I’m a couple hours late so my apologies, but I hope you enjoy this ridiculous Mimato ficlet with your holiday!
—————
“That is way too much frosting,” Yamato said. He’d shut the cabinet and turned on his heel, a pivot of about 60 degrees. And stopped with a deadpan look on his face that was slightly offset by the streaks of flour in his hair.
Mimi glanced at him, but didn’t pause in squeezing generous gobs of frosting onto the cake. His perfect, round, moist Christmas cake. Which was currently going concave under the weight of decadent buttercream.
“Yamato-san,” she said. “Cake is all about the frosting.”
“At the rate you’re going the cake is going to wind up a bowl to hold the frosting.”
Mimi’s smile widened. “Get me those strawberries, will you?”
Yamato did. Because with Mimi, it was important to pick your battles. And the last few hours had been fraught with skirmishes enough that he was now very on his guard.
Yamato was the only reason his friends wouldn’t be served an asparagus-and-black-licorice cake this Christmas, and he hoped they appreciated his efforts on their behalf.
He held out the bowl of plump red strawberries, already washed and cored. Mimi hummed as she plucked them out one by one, rolled the broad end in buttercream, then in sprinkles, and then used it to ornament the top of the cake. As the decorating continued, more and more strawberries sank into the thick frosting like some poor animals trapped in quicksand.
“There, strawberries are done. Now, let’s see, what next?”
“It’s fine the way it is.”
“No, it’s not! It’s lacking color - panache - vivacity!” She gasped. “I know! Romanesco!”
“No.”
“Why not? It’ll look just like little pine trees among a sea of fat Santas! And we can add bits of artichoke in between to be Elves!”
“Sea” was an apt word, Yamato thought, as by now the strawberries had sunk to the point that it seemed rather like they were in drowning. He shook his head. Mimi’s affinity for combining sweet and savory was an occasional stroke of genius, but more often the reason their friends arrived to the party with plastic bags in case they had to hack something up.
“We don’t have romanesco or artichoke,” was all he said.
Mimi sighed and stuck out her lower lip. Her hair was shining in spite of being covered in at least as much flour as his. She’d tied it back with a piece of ribbon from wrapping presents. Her apron was pink with a little peach-shaped monster gnawing on the corner. He felt pretty confident that the sweater she wore underneath was cashmere.
He put his hands on her hips and tucked her head under his chin.
“It’d be so perfect with artichoke and romanesco,” she pouted, gazing miserably at her frosting beast of a cake.
He had the right noncommittal response to that. “Mmm.”
“It would,” she insisted, glaring up at him, or at the floury fingerprints dotting his chin, he supposed. “I’m a genius, you know. The teacher at my baking school told me so.”
Yamato nodded, brow raised. “After your first class, she said you were so ahead of the other bakers that you shouldn’t waste your time coming back.”
“Exactly. That’s how much my sour cream and onion peppermint bark impressed her.” Mimi gave a sudden smile that was bright as an early morning sunrise off the water. “I’m going to start vlogging my experiments.”
“You do that.”
“I’ll become famous and make a fortune off advertising revenue.”
“I’ll be a member of a penniless garage band.”
“Oh! You can be special guests on my show!”
“…”
He refrained from answering in favor of kissing her. Her lips were sugary and tasted faintly of the gingerbread cake Sora had brought (“in case of any shocking disasters that might put an untimely end to the Christmas cake”). Mimi had declared ketchup the perfect pair for gingerbread, so he tasted some of that too.
They stopped only at the sound of a spoon clanging on the countertop and looked round.
“Oops - sorry,” laughed Taichi, scratching the back of his head as he ate a frosted strawberry. The side of the cake closest to him was now leaning perilously in his direction. “Did I interrupt something?”
“Get your hands off that cake,” Yamato commanded, while Mimi rolled a hand towel into a whip.
Taichi lifted his hands in a gesture of innocence which the frosting goatee dangling from his chin cheerily betrayed. “I wouldn’t dream of touching your cake. One of the strawberries was crooked, that’s all. By the way, did you pick the Leaning Tower of Pisa for your inspiration?”
Mimi cracked the whip. The force was enough that the cake tray actually jumped, ever so slightly in the air, and gravity finally won the day, sending the cake pouring over the edge of the counter and right into Taichi’s lap.
Immediately Taichi dropped to the floor.
“Ooh, ahh, you got me, I’m dead. Tell Sora I loved her.”
With another sigh, Mimi buried her face in Yamato’s apron, heedless of the great raspberry sauce stain right where her nose was. “Now Christmas is ruined.”
“We’ll just have to make another cake.”
She gave a slow nod. Her brow suddenly cleared. “We can use my recipe for asparagus-and-black-licorice after all!”
She pranced off, pulling out new bowls and washing measuring cups. Yamato picked his way around the counter to crouch next to the cake-covered, twitching corpse of his former best friend.
“I’m going to kill you,” he whispered.
“That will be neat, seeing as I’m already dead,” Taichi replied, licking frosting off his elbow.
“I mean it, Taichi. Think. What’s gonna happen to you if all twelve of us have to eat asparagus and licorice cake and it’s your fault?”
He walked away. On the floor, Taichi went pale and quickly sat up. “Uh, Mimi! You know, since I’m the reason the cake was ruined, I think I should be responsible for getting a new one - right?”
Sora stood in the doorway. She looked as if she had a headache. “I did bring the gingerbread cake, you know.”
“I know,” Yamato said, “and I also know everyone already got so hungry waiting that they ate it.”
She groaned. Taichi and Mimi were Jedi-fighting with whisks behind the kitchen counter. “Why does this happen every year?”
“There’s no arguing with tradition,” Yamato answered, just as Mimi made the doubtful claim that Taichi had killed her father, and went to referee before someone lost a hand.

Secret Santamon 2018
I joined @secretsantamon and this is for @yukimuraruki. Some Daiken Christmas. I made them a bit odler (ie living together and having a car) and a few other things from canon but overall just some christmas fluff with them. Merry Christmas

For the first time in a long time, there is a white Christmas. No one expected it. The storm came out of nowhere and left as soon as it dropped over a foot of snow on the ground. Some people do grumble at the fact travel will be hard but others rejoice at the winter wonderland. Children, teens, and adults alike can’t wait to run outside.
Ken, Davis, and their digimon partners are excited to go enjoy time out in the snow but they wait. First thing that comes first is giving gifts. It is Christmas after all. Davis crawls under the large pine tree to grab some presents that got pushed back in the rush before. When he comes back out, green needles are in his hair and all over his back.
“We can’t miss these!” He says.
Davis looks at the name tags. One for each of them. He gives the two smaller boxes to Veemon and Wormmon before handing a medium size one to Ken. The digimon quickly tear into the boxes. Veemon pulls out some cases of sweets. His starts to drool. Meanwhile, Wormmon pulls out a scarf. He grins and asks Veemon to help him put it on.
“You gonna open up yours or what?” Davis asks Ken.
“I was waiting for you to open yours. Didn’t you read who it was from or only who it was too?” Ken replies.
Davis rereads the tag.
To: Davis From: Ken
“Oh. Heh. I was just trying to sort them all. Let’s see what you got me.”
Davis tears open into the gift. He opens the box that was hidden under the wrapping paper. Inside are issues upon issues of his favorite comic books. His eyes widen as he picks them up one by one.
“Oh man, I can’t wait to read these! I’ve been dying to continue reading. I hated falling behind but now,” Davis reads all the issue numbers. “They are all here! This is the best present ever!”
Davis leans over and pecks Ken on the cheek. Ken smiles.
“Open yours now!” Davis says.
“Okay, okay.”
