i’m gonna be a little harsh here but too many of you guys have been babied.

i know this is no new news but i don't care and i will keep talking about it but there is a genuine racism problem in general on this website, and in the selfshipping community.

i wont get into the yume vs selfship discourse even though my two cents of it is: just call it selfshipping.

to me when people use the terms "yume" "riako" and whatnot as a substitute for saying "i selfship with this character and i consider them my spouse" or "i have a serious relationship with this character", it reminds me on how white people would use AAVE as a means of "fitting in" or "it sounds cooler" without knowing the full context to how AAVE came to be. or to put it simply, steal from Black culture. when it comes to "yume" the context i mostly see it in is because "it sounds cooler/cuter" or "it has a stronger meaning" when in reality, it just comes from a different culture. sounds familiar?

and the thing about this is what white people wanna turn a blind eye to this in general or defend themselves by going "oh im white but i dont do any of this stuff". this post is Not About You. and even then, how do you know you aren't doing any of this stuff? just because some of your other white peers are saying that you aren't being racist? but you won't listen to your Black/peers of color when they call you out on something?

instead of trying to defend yourself when you get called out, just suck it up and if you care so much, make the effort to change how you’ve been acting instead of just going back and forth so you won’t have to feel like the bad guy in the situation. get over your white guilt.

i don’t talk about racism much as a Black person on this blog due to the possibility of getting annoying anons about racism. or people getting annoyed that i’m not selfshipping here. but YOU 🫵 white reader, can’t keep turning a blind eye to this and whatever is going around you just so you don’t have to face the fact that you are privileged. you have never dealt with racism your entire life. and HEY, guess what? racism is very real, and you are part of the problem when you don’t do anything about it. don’t try to talk over us, listen to when somebody calls you out and Fix It.

HELLO SUNDAY THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY!! im like slowly and surely trying to get back to this blog and going through my inbox, working full time rly takes a lot outta ya ;A;

BUT YES!!!! ken my amazing qp partner!! its been a while since ive thought of him but here's a few thoughts! ⚾️⚾️⚾️

my s/i (tiff) grew up with a bunch of siblings and kenji is an only child, so they had a LOT to share when taking about family

“wait what do u mean ur siblings would prank you all the time? isn’t that just bullying?”

“noooo no no we mess with each other all the time! id prank em back too! that’s just how siblings are, you know what I mean?”

kenji and tiff met in high school in the US. being kids from diff countries, (japan and australia) they were kind of automatically lumped in together by some of the other kids at school. ken was skeptical of her at first, but when tiff showed she was no harm, he eventually warmed up to her

tiff eventually moved to japan for work, sometime before kenji moved back from the states to take up the position of ultraman (i still haven’t figured out what her job is yet, but i want it to relate to kaijus in some way)

tiff developed a wee bit of a crush on ultraman, not knowing it’s kenji lmaoooo

she just thought ultraman was so COOL, and HEROIC, even though he messes up the city a bit (a lot)

ultraman has saved her a few times, mainly from being crushed or caught in a crossfire between him and a kaiju. he can save anyone rly, but he can spot tiff in a crowd from a mile away, even though he wants to keep her at distance (this is for lore reasons!! i might get into that in another post)

once she finds out who ken rly is, the crush is GONE DAKDNJSNSJSN

Howdy Tiff :D how're you? It snowed here today in Texas where I live and all I can think about is how it is Summer over yonder where you're at!

HOWDY TEX!!!! TY for the ask!! man i wish i had some cooler weather rn i miss it dearly 😭 i hope winter is treating you well!!

THAT BEING SAID, there are some summer activities that i love to bits

with dipper and mabel, tiff is happy to just watch her niblings have water balloon fights. she likes to play referee and keep score on who splashed who the most. after the game, she rewards them with her homemade lemonade 🍋🍹

sometimes it escalates to water pistols and shooters, and that’s when tiff becomes an unstoppable machine on the nerf guns. sometimes the kids end up teaming up just to take her down!! they’ve only beaten her once…………allegedly

tiff always cuts up a bunch of fruit, (watermelon, peach, mango, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc) and makes sure to stock up on them in the fridge so the kids can help themselves anytime

absolutely DECKS OUT her house for summerween!! keeps candy out the front so trick or treaters can grab some, but not without setting up a whole obstacle course of spooky animatronics and fake traps in her front yard to keep them kids on their toes. adds to the fun! the twins help her plan out a new layout every year.

with stan and ford, they take any chance they get to go to the beach!! all three of them spent their childhoods at the beach, so they all share the same fondness. the kids come too of course!

sometimes ford will take tiff out to go and watch the fireflies. it’s smth they used to do when they were younger, so they make a date out of it :>

tiff joins stan on his fishing trips!! stan tries to brush it off as this old boring activity he does but tiff INSISTS on joining him. any time spent with him is fun and worthwhile, she says. they catch fish, play cards, and chat about any old thing that comes to mind

speaking of cards, the stans, tiff and fidds like to have a chill evening and play some poker while the kids are out with their friends, or they’re asleep. it’s a chance for the Old Geezers™️ to get together and have a lil gambling night (but not rly, the chips are literal corn chips) imagine it’s one of those nights where it’s nice and cool out, the crickets are chirping, the gang is sitting out by the back porch with a few lawn chairs, a few beers and ciders sit on the table, and there’s lots of joyous laughter and shouting. sometimes a simple night makes the most fun :>

Imagine this:

you're hanging out with Anna and Sloan at a relaxing bubble tea café to just sit and chat and kick back. Maybe it's a double date with you and your friend or you and your partner. You line up to order drinks, unsure of what to get. Soft, 2000s era alt pop music plays overhead.

Sloan excuses himself to take a smoke break outside and while they're gone some random guy-- recognizing Anna from her (pick one: as an Avenger, as an X-Men and mutant representative, Iron Man/Tony Stark's kid, up-and coming niche actress) appearance on tv walks up to you and Anna to start chatting Anna up.

Anna, oblivious and sweet thing she is, doesn't even think too much about it- lots of folks want to talk to them and she tries to be kind to everyone even if she's just trying to relax because that's just how they are as a person. The stranger is just about to shoot for a phone number when Sloan returns, clocks what's happening, and gives the stranger this look while pressing a kiss to their skin.

Anna (L) goes by SHE/THEY and Sloan (R) goes by HE/THEY

It's not just a glare it's an open stare into the stranger's soul. As Ghost Rider, they can see into the stranger's soul, his sins, any corruption and evil in his heart as easily as Anna can read the emotions of a room full of people, as easy as breathing or blinking.

The stranger swiftly leaves, mumbling excuses much to Anna's confusion and once he is gone Sloan straightens up to full height, nods at you, and casually asks what you're going to order while throwing an arm around Anna's waist and sweeping the room with a cold stare to ensure nobody else gets any ideas on bothering the group.

As you can see, Sloan is very protective ♡ Some could even say they're possessive, which is actually very comforting to Anna after the emotional hell they've been through regarding the relationship they once had with Steve back in the day.
