here’s Sky In Bloom; the thing I’m currently working on to get back into writing Again.
i miss this work so much i started painting Sky from Mocha’s pov, when she’s not a Underworld Boss but just a woman who is VERY much loved by her girlfriend 😅🫶
it’s been ages!
sorry about that, this year has been wild! my contract job dried up in january, i got a new job in february, got an eviction notice a week later because my automatically renewing lease didn’t renew, then the new job i got had a major business failure so bad we had to get the department of labor involved.

i’m doing okay, oddly. currently i’m in the process of moving in with family and getting a new, stable, income. (which i’m very lucky to be able to do.)
but- i will be coming back to Again!
y’all i have intentions for a follow up fic and we’re just out of the beginning of part one 😭
also, for a few years now, i’ve been prepping myself to view creativity as a serious way of supporting myself. (art as a whole was not considered ‘productive to society’ or a ‘viable profession’ in my childhood)
something i decided is, no matter what happens, it’s a year of art for me. basically, this is my tester year.
figuring out art styles, how i’m comfortable posting, what i want the “vibe” of my space to be, ways i can protect myself and my works in today’s bullshit, building paths to write/draw/exercise creativity everyday.
i’m in it for the long haul, folks. i’m gonna fail a bunch on a public stage until i either make it or am booed off the internet 🫡
i’ll be back soon, and i’ll do my best to make it worth the wait. if you’re waiting for an update, thank you for being patient. i know it’s been forever, and i’m honestly honored that my story means so much that you’re willing to keep up with it through the starts and stops.
