No answer. Datashrike merely beeped and rotated in the nest like an irritated cat.

The night was late. Very late, mere hours before dawn. The noise that drew Flash Vector out of recharge was faint. A small clunk, like a heavy conduit connecting with a port that protested a little too much. Followed by the baritone hum of power flowing before an even softer pop masked the rest.

It was enough.

As was the almost phantasmal glow of deep lavender lurking nearby, perfectly still and so dim a human might have missed it. But then, card bots were not human, and Flash Vector was quick to catch details...

There were rumors going around of a pair of strange planes flying over Mow Town...both dark in color and usually only appearing at night. Could they be more Cardbots...?

More Cardbots? Or something else? Either way, it had to be investigated!

Shadow X was the one to go, the heli using his Stealth Mode to be able to investigate unseen (Mostly). Lest these be enemies instead of friends. He'd fly over to where the planes were last reported to be seen and started the 'hunt'.

A LAUGH was there. Or was it? It was hard to tell with such a faceless visage. The tendrils came snapping at full force now and the mech was MOVING. Faster than his strange anatomy looked capable of. A dark lavender blur of metal and neons in the shadows of the abandoned airport.
