@securityschmerity Is there any way to provide documentary evidence of how many years you’ve been clean and looking after your daughter responsibly?
I’ve been trying to find everything, but the only actual people who could testify would’ve been a therapist who died last year and my ex who is the one who is getting my parents to try and take my daughter. I have text messages from my ex and old screen shots and everything, and I’m currently trying to find my therapists records and get access to them.

Where are they suing you, in Pittsburgh or elsewhere? Sorry i don’t know the ins and outs of this stuff, that’s probably where legal comes in
Honestly conflict of interest here is closer than you may think but what I can say is, get anyone who can attest to what you’ve achieved in the last 4 years, be it sponsor, na counselor, therapist, and ask them to write a character statement

Dan was nervous, this was the first date he’s been on since, well since his ex, and his ex was terrible. Even if this date is only a platonic date he’s still nervous. He’s walking to the cafe they agreed to meet up at, it’s an hour before the date and the walk is only approximately 15 minutes, Dan was just too nervous to sit around in his house and wait.
He gets to the cafe and finds a table in a quiet corner of the cafe, he doubts Abel is here and he doesn’t see him yet so he sits and just orders a coffee for himself and people watches. Trying to distract himself from his anxieties.
Abel rushed into the cafe, he was nervous and thought he was late even though he wasn't. He glanced around the cafe for a moment, taking in his surroundings, then walked over to the table Dan was at.
"Hi, sorry, I'm not late, right? Nevermind, don't answer that." Abel sat down across from Dan, then held out a small bouquet of flowers, it had orchids and carnations, mostly in dark red but there was some pink and white. "I know this is platonic, but I get all my friends flowers"
Dan smiles seeing Abel enter the cafe and spot him. Waving him over to where he is.
As Abel sits down Dan chuckles at the question “You’re not late don’t worry, I was just freakishly early” he smiles and waves over the waitress so Abel can order himself something.
He turns back when he sees the flowers and smiles “Oh thank you so much, I love them!” He takes them and places them gently on the table. Before reaching into his bag that was on the side of him and grabbing a Tupperware passing it to Abel. “Im not the best chef but I brought some homemade Spanakopita, I uh hope you like it” he says smiling shyly and rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
Abel smiled, "ah, thank you, don't worry I love Spanakopita, well..mostly my mother's but still!" Some of Abel's nervous energy depleted, he did order tea when the waitress came by.
"So, what do you want to talk about? I'm basically an open book!" Abel tilted his head slightly, still smiling. "I'm a good listener.."
Dan sighs in relief when Abel says that he likes spanakopita, hopefully his can be up to standards.
“Well i guess I’d just like to get to know you! Like where you’re from, what your personalities like, everything that you’re willing to share and we’ll see where the conversation takes us!” Dan smiles taking a sip of his coffee.
“I’ll start I guess, it’s nice to meet you, I’m from Ireland and Greece but grew up in the south on a farm in the middle of nowhere lol, I’m an ex-pro boxer and have a 2 year old daughter who’s like my whole world, but you can probably deduce all that from my social media page” he says chuckling at the end there
"why was everyone raised on a farm? Sorry, that sounds rude, I only say that because I was also raised on a farm. I was originally born in Russia, then moved to the states when I was 4, I have 5 siblings, I'm a middle child with my twin sister. I take art classes and garden for fun." Abel paused, then muttered, "that's where I got the flowers from.."
Abel glanced away, sipping his tea, then looked back up at you. "Most of my personality is pure nervousness and the ability to basically never shut up when I get comfortable with a person, I guess you could say I'm a bit shy as well.."
“Haha that’s fair, my parents were serious preppers unfortunately so wasn’t the most pleasant farm experience. I also have a bunch of siblings and am a middle child actually! I’ve got 10 siblings and I’m number 5 of them all, though I’m not in contact with any of them anymore unfortunately. Most of the time I draw and cook for fun in my free time and I work out consistently!” He smiles “The flowers are so pretty! You did amazing with them and it sounds so cool to have a twin I wish! All my siblings have one except for me and the youngest”
He laughs at the description of Abel’s personality and listens to him rambling on sipping his coffee and enjoying his time.
"10 siblings? Jeez, I feel bad for you.." Abel sipped his tea, "how does one survive with 10..and here I thought I struggled with 5."
“Haha yeah there were quite a few of us lol, no idea how I survived especially since most of them were brothers” he says jokingly.
