Rafayel is.....a merman!

Another Goldenbooks-esque portrait of our favorite Fishie! I imagine that while his hair must look fantastic under water, and above water, that the transition still....produces questionable results. (( see Disney logic in Fox and the Hound, and Lion King))

Originally, Rafayel being afraid of cats was a little of a turnoff. It was cute because he was a fish but I like cats. So the card when he learns to get over his fears because he wants to play kitty cards with you is one of my favorite moments with him and proved that he was still willing to face his own fears not out of necessity but out of a desire to share the things we love. Incredibly thoughtful, and not at all easy for him.

Since it's Year of the Horse, I wanted to try my hand at sketching the LADS boy's as horses....Yes I realize how horse-girl that sounded but legitimately I just wanted to draw Lads X Spirit

My GF is a Xavier and Caleb main, and she always leaves the volume up- I just can't help but laugh when I hear " TIME FOR SLAUGHTER" in Xavier's trying to be intimidating voice.

I started a new comic about how I feel about AI....it's gonna be a series.

Also. I'm like 30 something, but....I really wanna continue to get better at art and I feel like since I teach art and was a professional concept artist for 9 years I should be amazing at everything that is art, but being a teacher, I also know I can't be good at anything until I suck at it. But being bad at comics- which i've loved but been afraid to actually do for a long while- is really frustrating. So any and all critiques, and suggestions and support is SUPER SUER SUPER appreciated.
