isn't it insane though how schizophrenic people are viewed as violent and dangerous by the majority of society when in reality schizophrenic people are nearly 14 times more likely to be on the receiving end of violence than to be the perpetrators...
schizophrenic person: makes a post trying to raise awareness about the disproportionate abuse and harmful stereotypes schizophrenic people face

Two halves of a heart
Toga and Uraraka undeniably foil each other and represent the dichotomy of love and the heart in general.
Uraraka definitely symbolizes the softer, more positive qualities of love. For example she’s selfless, desiring to become a hero for her family’s sake, caring, positive, modest, and emphatic, able to understand and read others, such as Bakugo. Though these are the more light-hearted qualities of love, some of these characteristics if carried out to an extreme, have detrimental effects. For example, Uraraka is modest to the extent of being insecure and once downgraded her own noble intentions of being a hero to provide for her family. Another aspect of love which Uraraka displays is escapism. She’s shown to disregard her crush on Deku and deny her feelings towards him.
Toga on the other hand represents the darker aspects of love we tend to avoid and ignore. Toga is selfish, clingy, quick to anger, possessive, and violent, which represents the darkness of our heart. Yet it is this darkness that allows her to empathize with Twice, a grown man and criminal and other characters such as Uraraka. She’s also incredibly raw and true to herself. While Toga represents love towards others, just like Uraraka, she also expresses true love for herself. Even though her actions are undeniably wrong, she’s still being true to herself and following her own heart’s desires, even if it hurts people in the end.
Uraraka’s soft and selfless form of love may seem to be preferred and accepted form of Love, however it also has its drawbacks, while Toga’s form of love may seem violent and viscous, is also has its roots in normal love and have its advantages, such a self-love and empathy.
However no love is completely right or wrong. Both of them represent the extremes of Love. Horikoshi implies that love is complex and one side cannot block out the other. For Love to truly be at harmony, the two halves must be in harmony.
Love is a complex emotion.
The anime really gave us extra scenes of Kotaro being abusive (not in the physical way, more like verbally abusive).
Liek they really wanted to make emphasis of how regular were the instances of Kotaro screaming at Tenko and making him wait outside without eating or anything.
Also Tenko mentioning that his allergies were worst at home are enough to assume they are stress based, a nice contrast and irony because Tomura was facing Redestro himself while remembering those memories, and Re-Destro's quirk is based on accumulating stress and using it as power.
I see what you did there, Horikoshi.
