Your ancestors got there freedom. Also what do you deserve? You didn’t have to live through slavery.
Compensating slavers for the slaves they lost and not compensating our ancestors for the many hundreds of years they lost while being slaves contribute massively to the wealth disparity we see in america today. For you to think freedom is all they deserve says everything I need to know about you.
So you wish to simply hand out money to those who have done nothing to earn or deserve it, their ancestors were the one who suffered not them. As well I don’t believe these slave owners should have been paid but that’s not anything I can do about that.
If you don’t fight for all women, you fight for no women. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻 (📸: Kennedy Dickerson)
I love how it’s only women on both they don’t give a shit about men.
Wow maybe that’s because women have been oppressed by men for years. Notice how the United States just had the first woman vice president? The first one in 231 years. That means every single vice president the US has had has been a male.
No real feminist has ever said they don’t care about men. But people have constantly been saying that they don’t care about women for years.
Maybe you just haven’t ever noticed because you’re blinded by all of your male privlage but when half of the planet has had to fight for their rights to vote, fight for their rights to have equal pay, has to deal with people constantly hating on them for being women, and have almost zero representation in the media or in politics or almost anything at all, THEN IT IS OKAY FOR THEM TO HOLD UP A FREAKING SIGN ACKNOWLEDGING THEIR FIGHT.
Stop begging to be oppressed because you have absolutely no idea of what it feels like.
You act like a female Vice President is some how an accomplishment, it’s totally not like women have held positions of power in government before. And yes no real feminist actually hates men but i doubt any of these star bucks sipping, red haired, got a lip ring at 16 to make my parents mad lookin’ assholes comes close to fitting the definition of a real feminist.
Also what woman in a 1st world country has to remotely worry about being oppressed. Especially when farkhunda malikzada was beaten to death by a crowd in Afghanistan, tell me in a country like America or the young could they have gotten away with that? No because we live in a society that doesn’t tolerate that no matter what. You say I’m reaching to be oppressed when that’s all modern western feminism is.
Okay you’re just wrong on so many levels.
A female Vice President is an accomplishment especially after over 200 years of there only being men in positions of power in America. Find how many women in positions of power there are compared to men. Its a SIGNIFICANTLY fewer amount.
I think youre also forgetting that not everyone is a feminist. So if these “star bucks sipping, red haired, got a lip ring at 16 to make my parents mad” people don’t fit your definition of a “real feminist” that doesnt mean that they hate or don’t care about men.
Being a feminist is believing that women and men should be equal. Thats literally what feminism is so if they dont fit your definition of a “real feminist” then oh well.
You’re saying what do I have to be oppressed about? The first thing you said that I replied to was talking about how these women “don’t give a shit about men” Where have they said they dont give a shit about men? Tell me? Oh yeah thats right, they didn’t. You’re begging to be oppressed when you say things like that because no one has ever said they don’t care about men. I know there are people out there that have it worse than me but the difference between you and I is that I am acknowledging the fact that yes, there are people that have it worse than me. But you on the other hand think that because people are holding up a sign acknowledging their fight that that somehow means they’re coming at you. Acknowledge the fact that there are people that have it worse than you so instead of shitting on the people that are trying to make things better and equal, maybe you should realize that men do have things easier than women and that is an issue.
Considering they’re are entire hashtags of people saying kill all men or men are trash and many times these people are heavily tied to the feminism movement.
And if women were truly oppressed they’d have NO position of power. Hell this conversation probably wouldn’t be happening.
And sure as hell know people have it worse than me. And if wanna talk about women having it harder than men let’s bring up a few different things:
1) women receive shorter prison sentences for the same crime compared to men
2) men have much higher work place fatality rate.
3) majority of homeless people in the word are men.
Yeah compared to a good number of people I’ve got it easy but so does just about everyone in the modern world. Women are no different.
The people saying kill all men is in retaliation to men creating a hashtag for rape all women. Saying kill all men is a joke however it is not a joke when people say rape all women because it actually an issue that many women face today.
People that say that men are trash are saying it towards the men who are actually trash, men like you who believe that because people are finally realizing that women deserve to have the same rights as men that they’re automatically shitting on men.
No not all men are trash the same way not all feminists believe men are trash. Hell, if you believe that men are trash you’re not a feminist at all because again its all about equality.
And remember when I said men like you are dying to be oppressed? This is an example of it, because you think that for these three reasons men automatically have it harder than women. Darling I could write a list a mile long about all of the struggles women go through and if your list of reasons is as short as your dick its going to be a very small fraction of my list. Stop thinking that because people are realizing that things should be equal that means that theyre shitting on men. There are so many things that women face that you probably don’t even know about. So shut up and educate yourself.
You know for a fact that rape all women thing is a crock of shit, I scoured Twitter looking for anything relating to it and found most people shitting on instead of supporting it and many of these dated back to 2014.
So you some how know how every person thinks when they say men are trash? That not a single on of them are just shitting on men.
my list of things were just three things were simply off the top of my head, there’s plenty of others such as college graduation rates, death rate in war, our mental health in general, etc and never said that because of these issue we have it worse than women, I’m saying that we have our own problems that women don’t face quite as often.
Listen man, Im done having this stupid argument with a dumbass misogynist like you but men saying to rape all women is a real thing and the difference between that and kill all men is that kill all men is a joke. Women have been being raped for so long and men treat it like its a joke. Have you actually ever heard of a woman killing a man with the specific intent of killing him because hes trash? No. But there are countless victims of rape and many men treat it like a joke when its not. Those men are what “men are trash” is directed to. No not all men are trash but people have bad experience with men who are.
And your pathetic list is nothing compared to the struggles of women. Maybe mens death rate in war is higher because it wasn’t until 1948 that women were allowed to be in the military? Maybe men have a higher workplace fatality rate because more men work in workplaces because people believe that women should stay home. Maybe women’s graduation rates are higher than men’s because they have more to lose and have to work hard for what they have.
Now lets talk about how there is still a wage gap in most companies. As of 2020, for every dollar a man earns a woman earns 81 cents.
Or would you like to talk about how on only 25 percent of the senate is women, 23 percent of the House are women, and on average worldwide only 24 of all national parliamentarians are female as of 2019
Oh maybe we could also talk about the pink tax which makes common household items more expensive for women then they are for men. For example shampoos, body wash, razors, and clothing cost more for women then they do for men and overall women pay more than men 42% of the time.
We can also talk about how men are more likely to receive higher salaries and raises than women in the same position and how women are less likely to get promoted then men.
Or maybe we can talk about how women spend more than twice the amount of money on medical bills on average that men do.
Did you know that 1 in 5 women will be raped in their life? I know people raping men is an issue too but compared to women is a much smaller amount of people.
Oh and you’re forgetting the most important part. All of these issues are caused by men and can be changed. We already know there are barely any women in positions of power and only 20% of CEOs in a company are women so the people raising the prices for women are primarily men. The reason for your arguments about how men have it “sooo much worse” are not caused by women or even by men, they’re caused by themselves. Are women the cause of men’s graduation rates? I don’t think so considering that the only person responsible for someone not graduating is themselves or if they can’t afford to finish it but even then, that wouldn’t be the fault of women. Workplace fatality rates? Not women’s fault either.
So now what we have established that women and men are not equal but now we also know that women do in fact have it harder than men. Yes men are not perfect but men like you certainly aren’t making things better by thinking that you’re being hated on simply because two women are holding up a sign. No they did not include men because men have not had and gone through the same struggles they have. So instead of thinking that youre being hated on or that people don’t care about you, why dont you try to help the people with actual struggles. Some people saying that they hate men isnt a struggle at all especially because people have been saying that to women for years.
I’m done having this argument now so I just hope that reading this you’ll have a change of heart or something and realize that these people could use your help.
You are full of such shit. If men hold as much power as you act like they do then none of the things I listed would be problems to begin with.
And when the fuck did I ever claim any of these issues are the fault of women? I said these are just issues men have to deal with, you straw man arguing shitter.
Despite what you might think men have been through shit as well, as much as women? Maybe I’m not sure. But don’t for a second act like we’re not struggle with major problems that your biased ass ignores.

So apparently somebody Decided to shit talk me and block me at the same time giving me no way to respond directly, you know Like a coward, so I’m gonna respond here.
Yes I acknowledge that debit/ credit cards and other such things aren’t luxury items any more but when have I ever said I don’t think the minimum wage should be raised? You then kinda just ramble about a theoretical situation about me telling a misogynistic joke at work and getting upset about getting reprimanded.
And while I have made jokes like that it’s with friends who have a similar sense of humor not at work in front of professionals. Then you go on to bring up the sanitary pads thing for some reason? It was kinda just tacked on at the end. In the end it doesn’t matter because you make no real point at all really you just ramble. @vermillionquinn
Nobody ever really talks about this, but in America (Canada is for intents and purposes America for this rant) a car, cellphone, and a credit card are not luxury items, they’re things you need to possess to function as even a lower class citizen.
Yes the quality of our life has improved to the point where these items are easily available and have now become standard in life.
There luxury items for the same reason razors are, you don’t need them to survive.
Then why are bathrooms considered a right? Technically you can survive because you can pee on the floor. Why should it be different than bleeding through your clothes and all over everything like chairs and the floor.
Ignoring how this is a false equivalence it’s Because bathrooms are something that is needed to survive. It is place where you can safely relieve bodily waste and clean yourself, without cleaning oneself your health is out at major risk. Tampons serve a similar roll but it is a roll that isn’t as high as a priority for ones health.
But like if you didn’t have a bathroom you could per on the floor just like how if you don’t have feminine hygiene products you bleed on the floor. What’s the difference?
As I stated the higene issues the bathroom resolves are intergral the survival. Again though this is a massive false equivalence.
How are they integral to survival? Please just explain it, I don’t understand.
Discarding of human waste (something we produce everyday) is integral to keeping our homes, businesses and selves clean and as such keeping us from spreading diseases. Showering is also important as it is the best way of cleaning our skin and hair removing any dirt filth and dead cells. Tampon, while serving a similar roll, are not as important to keeping us clean and are used far less.
And how is preventing yourself from dumping literal liters of your blood onto your chair not discarding human waste? If you did that every day for a week, wouldn’t it be just as dirty?
A human female only expel 10-80 ml of blood during their period which is very much less the feces or urine.
You are aware the blood expelled during a period, which can’t be held in, is still a waste product, right? Even if it’s “less,” having any waste in your clothes is as much of a biohazard as having pee or poop in there. If using the bathroom is integral for survival so you aren’t in contact with waste, then so is some form of menstrual hygiene product. I don’t understand why you seem to think this is a false equivalence. What makes this a false equivalence??
As I stated above a humane female expels a very small amount of blood where as the amounts of urine and feces is much greater. including the fact that a bathroom includes a shower which is used to clean our skin of bacteria, dirt, and other types of filth which we use every day not just a few days out of the month, it’s easy to see this as a false equivalence. Tampons are not essential to our survival just like razors which is why they are both considered luxury items.
The “very small amount” is still a non-zero amount, you get that, right? If you had that much urine in your pants at a given time, that would still be a problem. Why do you think it only being a “little” blood makes it okay?
Because blood is far less of a health risk than urine or feces due to the amount of bacteria in them. Blood has far less bacteria in it compared to urine.
Maybe fresh blood from the vein has less bacteria than urine, but period blood isn’t fresh blood. It’s uterine lining, vaginal and cervical secretions, and any kind of bacteria that the exterior of your vulva has on it. Menstrual blood also carries a risk of transmitting any STDs the woman might have, including HIV, which is definitely a health risk for anyone that could come into contact with it, which will happen if a woman doesn’t have some form of containment like a tampon.
Yet this risk is rather small in comparison to the health risk of not having a bathroom. A tampon is not equivalent to an entire room of your house. There are also other was of disposing of this blood than a tampon.
Just because the risk is smaller doesn’t mean there isn’t a risk at all, and the original comparison to a bathroom was meant to illustrate that tampons serve a similar need, which is containing and disposing human waste. Your early comparison to a razor, which has no hygiene purposes and is purely aesthetic, is less appropriate than the comparison to a bathroom.
And yes, there are other menstrual hygiene products available, but that doesn’t negate that tampons and pads are the most accessible. Most women that menstruate are going to use a tampon (or pad) because it’s necessary for women’s health to contain our period blood and keep it off of our clothes, chairs, etc.
I am not arguing that there is no risk I am arguing that comparing a tampon, an object women use a few days out of the month. Is not equivalent to a bathroom, a place we use daily. On top of this yes a razor is used for hygiene purposes especially in the food industry. Many places restaurants (fast food at the very least) have a no heavy facial hair policy meaning you have to shave.
I’m not saying you said that, I’m saying there is a risk and it shouldn’t be ignored because it’s “smaller” than another similar risk. Learn how to read. Also, an employer having a no-facial-hair policy is not the same as a beard innately posing a health risk. For all your talk of false equivalence, it seems like you don’t even know what that means.
Your original point was that tampons are luxury items because “you don’t need them to survive.” That is demonstrably wrong, because women do need tampons (or comparable menstrual hygiene products, since you pointed out there are other ways of disposing blood than tampons while you were moving the goalposts,) to avoid exposing themselves and the people around them to the biohazard that is menstrual blood.
Menstrual hygiene products are not luxury items. They are necessary for women’s health and survival.
They hardly are especially when such things as toilet paper and things of that sort are easily just as effective. And even if no access to them their is little risk not enough to consider tampons a necessity. 10-80ml less than two shot glasses of blood is released. This blood is not a danger to anyone. And beards (when left ungroomed) area health ob the same level as period blood because of its risk in getting into food and the bacteria it contains.
Quick question, Segashark: Are you male?
This has no relevance in the topic at hand.
Yes it does, and that answer means yes you are. It’s super easy to just say “put some toilet paper up there, it’s not so bad” when you’ve never menstruated and never will. This conversation is going nowhere, and nobody but you thinks the way you do. I hope for the sake of all women everywhere that you never get married or have a daughter.
And I ALSO hope you learn how to clean your face and hair, apparently, since you think a beard is as unhygienic as menstrual blood. Fucking wow, man.
Oh I love it, whenever I bring up a good point it always comes down to “you’re not x so you don’t get to have an opinion on this” it’s such an unbelievably bad point. And you say that no one thinks like me as if you know the thoughts of everyone in the world.
To your point about my facial hair I shave regularly and it’s a fact that most men’s facial hair contains more bacteria then that of dog hair. Here’s a source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30062526/
Oh and I know you tried to sneak it in the tags like a rat but yes I am autistic, using it like an insult hardly makes you look good.
• Bearded men harbour significantly more microbes than dogs. • Dogs are no risk to humans if they use the same MRI. • Deficits in hospital h
