Sakamoto Days AU overview: ongoing and most likely to come next

This is for all the AUs I'm making with @seilkys. So not counting our individual solo AUs!

Ongoing:

Human Weapon AU, starting with Ressurection of a still-living. Taro thinks Shin died years ago, Shin however has been used for experiments by some organization (who is still as spoiler). Currently at 10 chapters and going on best. Angst, whump and a slowly building plot. Next to Shin trying to get his sanity back, Nagumo is going to have a good amount of focus as he tries to unveil the secrets behind the mysterious facility.

Jigsaw puzzles AU, aka the one where Shin was made a teen father and accidentally moves into the same neighborhood as the Sakamoto Family. Starting with Missing pieces, let them be found again. We do have most of the story planned, but have some trouble with the writing of this currently. Found family, emotional hurt/comfort and slice of life shenanigans!

All are equal AU, starting with The H&G program: A redemption story. Fantasy setting where Shin, a demi-god, has plans to reform the system, starting by wanting to help seven individuals reform themselves, who have also been nicknamed the "seven sins". Currently on a technical Hiatus, as we build out the world building and plot details. Includes Natsushin slowburn, hypersexual Natsuki (no sex scenes in the main fic! Only talk about it), ficitonal religion and a corrupt government. (And everyone has his own share of trauma, so a good amount of angst and hurt/comfort of course)

In the works: We wrote some for all of the following already, which one we post next depends on what you guys show the most interest in for now!

The prequel to Halloween is when the dead visits (Does it count if the dead never left?): In the Halloween fic Aoi finds out that her house is haunted, and that her husband apparently knows the ghost. This fic would explain how Taro started to be haunted. The prequel is gonna be a bit more angsty (for obvious reasons). The original fic is a pretty quick read at about 8k words, in a 5 + 1 format, so you can easily catch up on what's going on!

AsaKinda post canon: Old men Yaoi! (Asakura/Kindaka) Mostly crack with angst as an undertone around Shin, who wants to better his relationship to Asakura. (+Ando mentions) Shin was supposed to be more in the center, but Kindaka said "MOVE!". +Asakura being Shins 1st dad.

Kitsune Shin: Sakamoto stumbled into a forest after being injured on a mission and got saved by a kitsune. No, NOT the sexy kind. Just socially awkward people hanging around each other. Some magic shenanigans, and Taros fatherly instincts getting activated by some kid that's technically much older than him.

The puppet(eers): Newly joined Order members Nagumo and Sakamoto met Oki. Why does the man have a child? Who let him have a child? No one knows, but Nagumo is going to ask while dragging Sakamoto with him.

Young couple argued and made it everyone's problem: It started with Sakamoto finding out about Shin's newly occurred disability/amputation. Then Natsuki greeted us and it snowballed into their marriage shenanigans. Natsushin, disabled/amputee Shin trying to keep his disability a secret from the Sakamoto family while living with them and lots of marriage arguments because Natsuki and Shin and ragebaiting/arguing is their love language

Assassination Classroom crossover: Nearly a year after Sakamoto retired, the moon exploded, regarding an illegal experiment on the notorious Reaper. It was quite obvious for those who have heard of him. Shin did not expect to be in the middle of 3 ways scheme between the JAA, the government, and whoever really behind the moon explosion. For godsake he did want to go to school, but not with a 24/7 job! Basically the Assassination Classroom plot, but we also throw Shin into the mix!

Feel free to ask some questions about the yet unposted AUs, though if the answer is a spoiler for the fic in some way I might be a bit cryptic about it, haha

Crossover Hawks (My Hero Academia) x Shin (Sakamoto Days) x Atsushi (Beast!Bungo Stray Dogs

This AU appeared unannounced and without anyone to share with, I'm throwing it up here. Hope someone would like it and talk with me 🥹

Hawks's line still follows canon: being bought by HPSC and trained to be a hero and an assassin.

Shin's line diverts when he's 13. The cruise incident happened but without the appearance of Sakamoto, and instead some HPSC's agents (since HPSC is basically whitewashed JAA), and with 15yo Hawks too. They gave him an offer (not really) of going to HPSC, giving Shin a little attachment with Hawks as he tried to comfort him, thus Shin in HPSC. (I probably would give some of Sakamoto's lines to Hawks, with rephrasing.) They didn't intend to train him into a hero from the start, his 'quirk' is not flashy enough, and it's more useful without others knowing. Shin remains as pure assassin, his esp powers can have 2 sides telepathy.

Atsushi's line has HPSC bought Atsushi from the orphanage after a fearful staff reported the incidents. Atsushi was 8, Hawks was 14. HPSC intended to make him like Hawks, both hero and assassin. But he couldn't handle killing people, so his mental health derailed and they had to move him to assassin-only program, with Shin acting as his 'leash' since Atsushi's mind was too weak to form immunity against esp's commands (lemme bs this.) Atsushi's hero name would have been Beast lol.

If they have an entire underground/assassin community, these 3 will have their own moniker too. Hawks as Angel of Death cus the wings red as blood and becus I'm niche. Shin as Devil's Eye cus he always knows things. And Atsushi as White Reaper cus that name is perfect Idc. They're still Keigo, Shin and Atsushi in private tho, a little stubborn thing that they kept as theirs.

S: I don't want to lose the name "Shin". It belongs the child who was me, I don't want to lose that part of myself.

K: ...even if the child was as worthless as dirt? No one knows about him?

A: ...even if the child was bad, and everyone hated him?

S: ...yeah, I think the child deserves to find someone to love, who would love him back. Don't get me wrong, I don't think "I" deserves it, but... that child does

Wuahhh I spontaneously wrote that out it's so ooc. I still haven't been able to grab their child selves's mentality.

Anyway, this will largely be based on MHA world, very few references from the other 2. By the canon time, Keigo was 22 so Shin would be 20, and Atsushi 18. I have some thoughts about their relationships and relation to canon events too. But uhhh

A saiki k × sakamoto days crossover was just reavealed in my dreams.

Dreamt about saiki and shin swapping bodies and saiki being like super flashed about being able control his mind reading and not having to worry about anything else while shin is totally unable to control his new powers and is overwhelmed.

Saiki needs to help him obviously and guides him how to control his body but he himself is now more vulnerable and somehow hurts himself badly and bleeds.

Shin knows how to handle wounds like that and then takes care of it easily.

So they exchange their stories. Saiki is surprised by shins past. Shin is curious about how saiki didnt destroy the world yet. And its a really sweet exchange.

Guys i cant sleep but i have this szenario in my head i repeat over and over do im jus gonna write it down and tomorrow well see if i cooked or nah

So imagine shin at the aquarium when he first sees the bodies tinting the water red. (SUCH a good scene suzuki cooked with that one fr) (this is btw inspired by the fic here: You can count on me, like 1 2 3, I'll be there from @seilkys and @multifandom-nerds-blog , LOVEDD this fic, wanted this scene without atari but a happy ending kind of (so my heart can rest in peace lmao))

So, shin at the aquarium. Slur breaks through the glass bla bla but instead of atari saving shin, taro comes just in time. Shin is already exhausted and runs full on adreneline, his hands are shaking because he is sure he will die and has no chance against slur no less against his takamura personality. Taro grabs him and they run. Taro, however, still has his trauma problem of believing his family died, so he has a slower reacting time. Shin knows this and once he senses slur catching up to them, he uses his esp. He reads into the future, further than he ever had and his head feels like splitting in half but he keeps going becuase they had to survive. He sees slur targets taro, so in a really cool move shin breaks the sword slur is holding and kicks him in the chin, makung slur fall back (it was a really strong kick, maybe shin even tried to use his esp on himself to make him kick stronger). Taro indeed wouldnt have reacted fast enozgh and is surprised to see shin movung that fast, shin graps him and they keep running.

The next part is where my head gets stuck at but imagine shin tries to use his esp but thid time, its over his limits. Like fr this time. His nose begins to bleed and he has an excruciating pain in his head. He brakes down, clutchung his head with his hands and makes some pained noises. Taro beside him stops and tries to reach out but shin flinches violently at that. He takes some heavy but shaky breaths, hands grasping painfully at his hair. Sakamoto doesnr know what to do but seeing shin like this breaks him a little. Shins breaths get more ragged and he screams/wails/ cries. His vision is blurry, everything feels like underwater, muffled.

Taros eyes dart around as he is really worried aboht shin. His head is: Shin hurt. Get to safety. Need doctor. Shin unconscious. Get doctor. Granny miya. Carry shin. Wounds? Check if hurt. Careful. Carry shin.

And so on idk

We skip forward and its shin at granny miyas and his head truly feels like splitting in half. He has neverexperienced this kind of pain before. He can barely mive his body, it being sore from the fight. He used his esp to oush his body to the limit too much so now he had to pay. His eyes are sensible to lights so he keeps them scrunched together. He cant stand up, staying curled in a ball. Miya has given him meds but that jzst made him nauseaus (i never know how to spell this).

Everyone else around him is soo worried, especially taro. He has never seen shin like that before and just wants to take his pain away. He stays with him most of the time, tries to be the soothing presence and be there when shin needs him. But also the others. Lu and heisuke come by, they try not to be as loud and instead focus on doing something relaxed so shin isnt alone. When shin sleeps (mostly from exhaustion from the pain), taro likes to gently brush through his hair. He feels guilty that shin has to go through that, thinking it was his fault for not being strong enough. He thinks back to the fight, seeing shin move like necer before and thinks back to the days where he didnt even know how to hold a gun properly.

Shin on the other side, the headache comes and goes in waves. Its always there, but sometimes more, liek an attack, sometimes less, like the constant buzzing of a fridge in the night. He is exhausted. His body hurts as well, pretty sure he has a some broken bones. It is so much he just wants to stop existing so he wouldbt have to feel it anymore. Without the others, he wouldve probably already ended it, but he cabt help but feel a little warmth knowing that he isnt alone and the othera keep showing up.

So im going back to sleep yall im just gonna post this i hope its not to weird byeeee

Dragons in The Journey to the West are forces of good but also invite demons - such as the Bull Demon King - to their underwater parties.

Cang Qiong Mountain Sect is a very important place and the fact that their peak lords have a tradition of ascending as one means that they are effectively a baby-god-producing factory and thus the peak lords and their heirs would get invited to parties because of diplomacy.

Mobei-Jun genuinely thinks he has been courting Airplane for a long time.

What I'm saying is Airplane is damned lucky to have never gotten caught at a party when he - according to CQMS - wasn't supposed to be there.

(Strictly speaking Prince is Wangzi 王子, not just Wang 王 which is king, but Wang is - if I understand correctly - an acceptable term when you've got an emperor or ruling parent outranking you. Let me know if I've got that wrong, and my apologies if so.)m
