These are just two strangers; they weren’t obliged to be affectionate with each other, and they have no connection that would make either of them worry about the other’s feelings because of their words or actions. Helaena called Rhaenyra ugly not because she’s concerned about the ugly nature of power — otherwise she would have gone to tell Aemond about it — but because she knew only bad Rhaenyra’s side, and that’s normal, that’s obvious. Helaena said that «all the things you care about are ugly» not because she was brave enough to speak the truth, but because she wasn’t know the person in front of her and what Rhaenyra truly held most dear. Rhaenyra knew nothing about Helaena and her emotional baggage, about her delicate emotional state, and nothing obliged her to sit and coax her like a five‑year‑old child or spoon‑feed her. Nothing obliged Rhaenyra to care about Helaena, or Helaena to care about Rhaenyra. The person who, in any way, connected them is already dead.

Okay, I have exhaled, I have calmed down, and I am ready to admit that even without the kiss, this scene is very beautiful. The fact what in the moment of panic Rhaenyra comes to her dear uncle-lover-husband — the only one person who she can really trust. The way how he calms her down, put an arms at hers shoulders whole his wife cries. Way how Daemon remainds Rhaenyra who she is — queen of dragons with obsalute power. How he says what it isn't matter what's the goods and people thinks because they are blood of Old Valyria. The way daemyra talking at High Valyrian — theirs love language, the way Rhaenyra let Daemon do his job and kill every Hightower because she asks. She asks him to kill for her. Daemon looks happy (he planned this for 20+ years), proud of his wife and obsalutly in love with Rhaenyra. The tension between them... (I am not divided yet, I want cry or punch someone because that kiss) How he touches her and how she touches him. Rhaenyra looks like book!version of herself. Honestly that one of the best scenes of episode.

And you are welcome in this show, my Queen Rhaenyra the Cruel. Since episodes 7 and 8 (and maybe 10) of season 1 I have been waiting to see book vibes in Rhaenyra again. And I see it in this episode. The way how Rhaenyra closed the window, just closed it — what's what book!Rhaenyra would do. She didn't know who Heleana was. Sims she has nothing to grieve about. Or she disaited don't «pretend» eny longer and becomes «ugly» person. You see, I think Helaena was right about pretending Rhaenyra. She given to much power to do everything right, to do everything the way that her father wanted. But Rhaenyra always was more like Daemon. They were «a parts of the whole», «two saids of one coin», «shere the blood of the dragon, restless and chaotic» — everyone around them sow it. Now she mast act this way. Now Rhaenyra mast stop holding back. (As she should two seasons ago). Even that means being ugly. Because Rhaenyra ugly inside like you or not. Because she never was only good in book. Because everyone around made her this.

Her father would hate her for that but I am not. Helaena has all rights to say Rhaenyra everything, Rhaenyra — acts this way. I am sorry that Helaena was left alone, without her mother and loved ones, held hostage. She's tired, she's done, she's hate this place. Of course she's think it's ugly and her overseer ugly too. But when you’re at the mercy of someone you don’t know and whose actions you can’t predict, it’s not good idea to saying such things.

I am done with this show. They cut it out. They. Cut it. Out. They make my watch at stupid Rhaenyra and Alicent relationship what still exist after everything should be over long time ago, they make me watch how White Worm kissed Rhaenyra twice, they make me watch at all that things between Aemond and Alicent, they show me two (or three, I don't remember?) alysmond kisses and, you know, Alys knows him for few weeks... AND THEY CUT OUT KISS BETWEEN MARRIED COUPLE. WHO WERE MARRIED FOR YEARS, WHO WERE LOVE EACH OTHER FOR ALL THIS YEARS. THE KISS WHAT I WAITED FOR ALL THIS YEARS.

My only reason to watch hotd — them. Thanks for Emma and Matt and theirs work for daemyra this show deserves to be watched. And I feel robbed. I don’t want to say that «I feel betrayed» but they always post and show daemyra to maintain interest, and then it doesn’t happen. Sometimes it seems to me that this writers hates heterosexual couples, and all they’re interested in is how — it's how Rhaenyra kisses another woman or how she connected to another woman. But I’m not interested in the relationship between Rhaenyra and Mysaria, or Rhaenyra and Alicent; I wanted to see Daemon and Rhaenyra as close as possible before he dies for her. And here we stend: show almost ended and Daemon and Rhaenyra didn't even kiss before the end where he will die for his wife. Great. Just great. Am I asking too mutch when I just asking only kiss for them? This show didn't give a damn about book canon from season one, so what exactly their problem give them a kiss? It's not because «they are siblings» because Alicent's and Aemond's real kiss exist. It's not becose «at that time, they were arguing in the book.» because show disrespect canon for sure. It not because «they are unhealthy» because Alys is mother-lover for Aemond. Why did daemyra kiss need to be taken away?

Last thing I wanted to say: I will always be dissatisfied and disagree with the fact that they weren’t allowed to kiss but I am glad that the love and bond between Daemon and Rhaenyra ultimately isn’t based on physical intimacy. As it was with alicole or halaegon. (And I don't hate alysmond).

Well I guess that part of book were Daemon maybe cheating on his wife in serial becomes the truth what Rhaenyra really cheating on her husband. Again. And she did because other person manipulated her. Again. After creates tell us what Nettle was removed because they wanted keep daemyra relationships. After Daemon said «You are my wife». After he said «Rhaenyra, please». Great. I hate this show.

Mm, well, you can correct me but this show shows us... Mother/son kiss, and their «intimate scene» what really was hallucinations so Alys almost rpd Aemond who clearly drink something wrong to see Alicent, what scriptwriters call «love triangle», they show us how Mysaria manipulations Rhaenyra and kiss her for second time...

3/4 of all show almost done and Daemon didn't kiss Rhaenyra yet but he clearly going to another I-kill-myself mission to prove to his wife that he can be trusted? Daemyra is a married couple, with two sons who they made, they are love each other (that's not helaegon or Jace x Baela relationship type) and... Why daemyra didn't kiss since their wedding? Why they didn't kiss when Daemon was talking about future conquests after he took King's Landing for Rhaenyra?

I finally gets to watch 8 season of «The Rookie» and I love chenford so freaking much for all this years... And the first spoiler I get about this season was what my beloved couple are engaged and kidnapped at the same time. And it's the first thing I know.

I just like how feminine Rhaenyra looks when it's night and only Daemon can see her like that.

Thanks to first season for trying, sometimes Rhaenyra actually looked like her original version. She's wearing just one dress here — simple one with removable sleeves, not the most beautiful of all the possible options over three seasons. And it looks richer, more canonical in a sense, than what Rhaenyra wears when she's not a reclusive princess on Dragonstone but the queen in the capital. In her prime. What would be so terrible if Elinda opened the trunk and offered her any dress from happy life on island?

«The city is yours, Princess», she is reported to have said, «but you will not hold it long. The rats play when the cat is gone, but my son Aemond will return with fire and blood».

I am just playing with colours. With Targaryen's eyes and Rhaenyra's favourite colour. And the Alicent's green. I can understand why she isn't wear green in show and I don't disagree with Nyra's black but my queen's dress is boring so I decided give it a little colour. And Alicent's green queen era was my favourite.

I wonder if Rhaenyra did remember hers daughter while looking at Helaena with her kid. Because Rhaenyra had a daughter named Visenya and she said «my only daughter». She was blame Greens for losing Visenya and wanted revenge in book, while in the show her lovely girl don't have even name. And this moment could be the moment when Rhaenyra could say: «I could have daughter too, Alicent. I always jealous what you had. I named her Visenya and also wanted she was for me, not for kingdom, not for Daemon».

Because show denies all possible variants for Rhaenyra told her husband what was the name of their child... Look, she didn't say the name in a whisper when they were looking at the fire, she didn't say it when they were fighting about her labor, the writers cut out the scene where Daemon pressed his forehead against her stomach in the finale of the second season. If the writers think that Rhaenyra can discuss children only with the woman who started the war that killed these children — please. I would like to hear the name of her daughter at least in conversation with Alicent. And it didn't happen.

I finally get to «The Borgias» with Lucrezia who is fancasting for Book!Rhaenyra (I think?) and... And I haven't decided yet I have type or problem. Problem type. But I like it.

I caught myself being a bad presence regarding Joffrey's storyline I'm not a team green, but if Condal gives him the Maelor's branch, dear green fans, I'll be happy to hold him for you if you're going to punch him in the face. I'll punch him myself and I hope we have an agreement on this point.

Actually very beautiful still. Thank you that here not Alicent, thanks for quiet candlelit environment. This looks almost romantic. I dislike septa-interactions between Nyra and Alicent in season 2 but must admit what this kind of scene always were intimate. So thank you. I don't know that they talking about, but have feeling that Daemon apologizing... Thanks for that moment anyway because they look pretty and they are together after I heve come to terms with the fact that now is a final divorce.
