dude, this isn’t something that I expected to ever like but after even a few interactions my eirika muse has just been like ‘ !!! protect !!! joshua !!! ’. and after thinking about it for a bit, rather recently tbh, I came to the conclusion that I just ! really enjoyed their dynamic ! as much as I love the knight / princess dynamic, the sweet princess / troubled prince dynamic also has its charms ! she will literally do anything to make sure he’s happy, whether they’re friends or more. like you said, them looking out for each other as royals is good shit !

kindness. it should go without saying that eirika is captivated by those she deems to be kind since she is a gentle soul herself. she feels as if it is easiest to trust someone who is kind—even if she already trusts so easily—since she has no fear of ultimately being betrayed. of course…appearances can be misleading.

strength. be it physical strength or strength of character, you will definitely catch her eye if you possess either. more so the latter, I suppose. she has 110% respect for people who can pull themselves out of a rut and stand tall once more.

elegance. she probably couldn’t explain it if asked, but she just finds something so captivating with how some people move. especially when they fight. fluid, practiced movements capture her attention so easily.

chivalry. this is probably something that can woo her most. there is nothing more charming than a kind and resilient knight. she doesn’t necessarily need to be protected—she would rather do the protecting—she just enjoys being treated right. she’s a real sucker for a knight in shining armor. hence her headcanoned crush on seth.
