Linda was checking her phone when she had heard screams of distress ringing out around her and noticed people taking cover. Turning around to see the source of the danger, she could see various projectiles firing out at innocent civilians. Before she even had time to react, the young reporter noticed a streak of red and yellow snatching people out of the way and in the next instant her heart skipped as she suddenly felt herself being moved at a blindingly high speed.

When she could finally make out her surroundings and gather her bearings, she could see that Kid Flash had been responsible for the rescue.

"Thanks for the save," she thanked him breathlessly as she waited for her stomach to catch up with the rest of her and her heart rate to slow to a manageable rate.
