I kinda hope that Peridot doesn’t get a weapon right away.  Think about it.  Instead of just getting a weapon and going all commando like the rest of the team, Peridot could be the Engie.  We’ve seen in the leak that Homeworld is sending robotic instruments after her.  Imagine her repurposing those to fight for Earth instead of against.  She could slowly amass an army right out from under YD’s nose!  Also that would lead to interesting other tech based ideas.  Like Peridot making some kind of smaller combat machine.  Like a RideBack.  That would be awesome.  Then one day her little robot thing gets utterly wrecked.  Then she can out of a moment of mental clarity and understanding of her own motivations, summon her weapon.....  Hoping its something strange with a learning curve. Like the Mantis Flip Coin from Xaiolin showdown.

I’ve been thinking again.  Mostly because I’ve recently gotten into fanfiction writing recently.  Well not because of that perse.  I mean, I always think but this got me thinking on another topic....  Speaking of topic, I should probably get back on my previous train of thought.

Maybe I should write content with original characters and put it online?  I mean, I do have experience with original story creation (if you count 8 years of being a GM).  What do you (random people that stumble upon my blog) think?

Ok.  I’ve been thinking about the clips leaked from the two upcoming Steven Universe Episodes (specifically the Barn Mates clip), and this scenario popped into my head.  Bear with me here.

Lapis:  *Glares angrily at Peridot*

Peridot:  Its a gift....  For you....  You’re supposed to take it and say “Wow thanks!”

Lapis:  *Glares*  Why would I take anything from you!?  You held me prisoner!

Peridot:  *looks confused*  That....  Was Jasper....  Remember?

Lapis:  *angry*  Don’t play dumb with me!  You locked me up the day we met!

Peridot:  *Thinks for a bit*  You mean your room?  You had free reign of the ship and...  *suddenly it dawns on her* .....  Oh my stars....  I never showed you how the door worked!

Lapis: ......

Peridot:  *facepalms*  Thats why you never left your room!  Yikes....

A good thing about moving to a new town for a new job is that I finally have a job that I don’t feel like I’m just an intern.  I am capable of supporting myself and paying my student loans.  I even have my own apartment.

The worst part about it is having absolutely no friends nearby and making new friends is proving to be really really difficult.  There’s no school assignments or classes to bring similar aged people together.  Coworkers all have families or already thoroughly established groups of friends.

I thought trying to make friends before was hard.  I don’t know.  Maybe I’m just adulting wrong?

Hey guys! I made a petition for Cartoon Network about Steven Universe and the hiatuses they keep putting this show on. If we get enough signatures, maybe it’ll show Cartoon Network how unfair they’re being with all these inconsistent hiatuses, and they’ll start having them less frequently. If they keep taking the rout they’re going with this show, it could lead to cancellation due to low ratings!! So if you all could share it/sign it, and maybe get your friends/followers to sign it as well that’d be great :-)
