The challenge: One self portrait a day - for a year, taken with your mobile phone or any camera that is at your disposal. Retouched, or pure! It doesn't have to be a facial, if you find that your toenail is particularly striking, shoot your toenail... If you wanna make it about how you have been sad all day, shoot your tear on a piece of paper. But make it about you and what moves you that very day. The challenge is to document a part of your life, a year full of emotions, some of them visible to viewers, others hidden behind. _gos='gostats.com';_goa=745375; _got=5;_goi=1;_gol='php web stats';_GoStatsRun();
Good morning everyone! I'm not the admin of this blog, but a co-poster. I was wondering, is anyone willing to do this 365 challenge? If you are, I'm willing to post your submissions if you don't have access to this blog. :)
I think everyone deserves a round of an applause for participating. Whether it was throughout the year or a certain time. You all did an awesome job dedicating yourselves.
The last and final picture of the one-selfportrait-a-day-project 2011 is dedicated to my loyal and wonderful companion - my digital camera. Thanks for all the fun, support and fabulous pictures ;)
But of course, my real gratitude goes out to all the wonderful people in my life, who have made this year and project so exciting and inspirational. Love you so much! Last but not least, thanks to all the people, who have followed my project. Thanks for the support, the likes and reblogs. It has been an honor.
The one-selfportrait-a-day-project is now finished and will not be continued in 2012… at least not in this way. I really will miss doing and sharing this :)
One year ago, in 2011, a co-worker/friend was invited to join a self portrait challenge—creating a self portrait each day for an entire year. Thanks to Facebook, I noticed this invitation and thought it would be fun. So, yes, I brashly invited myself, became a Facebook...
I really don’t know what I am supposed to think about this movie. Funny? Not really. Irritating. Yes. True? Hmm, maybe. Ironic? Yes. Passionate? Yes. Picture composition? Great… Still, no clear opinion. Perhaps, that’s the secret ;)

My new growing herd. Part of my simultaneously silly and serious art and animal training project and first foray into blogging. Nothing has tickled me this much on so many levels…ever. (www.artatliberty.wordpress.com)
Today, I had a lovely date with me, myself & I. We did a little bit of shopping, listening to a lot of music and a visit to the house of history (great light installations by the way).
Today, we have found her wedding dress. As I am NOT supposed to show it to the world, that will become our first blurry wedding pic. Looking forward ;)
