             “Wait you TOLD her–” He immediately regrets his reaction; sitting up immediately and whipping his head toward her. Wrong way to react, he realizes with lips pursed while his mind searches for a way to recover from that… He didn’t want Shiki to feel WORSE over her decision however… Even with the relationship with his parents on the mend and his mother in particular experiencing the same memory lapses of his death in sleep he had not even CONSIDERED telling her the truth.

           “Listen… I don’t think it’s POSSIBLE for Eri to hate you… But uh… Just kind of think about it from her perspective…” His arms cross around his legs bringing them up to his chest HOPING he could prevent Shiki from completely breaking down even if he wasn’t AT ALL good at this stuff, “It’s a lot to take in… A lot to believe. We can believe in it easily cause we were there but even BEING involved for the game it took me at least two days to actually believe you right?”

          He smiles in her direction, simple and small, “Just give her a bit of time to process it. With how close the two of you are I’m PRETTY SURE she’ll come around.”

               she cringed at his words, rolling onto her side as fresh tears burned red hot behind her glasses. ❛ it was a mistake, wasn’t it? ❜ oh the utter misery she wallowed in, drowning in a pool of her own self-pity. ❛ i-i shouldn’t have told her....now i’ve ruined everything... ❜ she feels helpless as the tears begin to streak down her face, plopping onto the floor and leaving her cheeks a sticky mess. 

                ❛ if i were her i wouldn’t believe it....sh-she must think i’m insane. sh-she’ll.... ❜ it was suddenly hard to breathe, chest constricting as she gasped for air, caught in the middle of her panic. ❛ oh god––––it-it’s over, it’s all over––––i never should have...i ruined everything. ❜ she curled in tighter on herself, forming a small ball on the floor of neku’s room. ❛ it’d be easier if i’d never come back. th-then i wouldn’t have been able to ruin our friendship a second time.... ❜

         He visibly TENSES at the question. He was  N O T  good in these sorts of situations he was better at ruining a persons mood when it came to serious situations like this from his perspective. There was a long silence inbetween her words and his uneven breaths when one thing sounds right to say but stops dead in his own throat.

        “Shiki…” He says with a strained voice reaching out he takes her hands into his as if to prove that he is present before her, “You know I can’t force you to believe this stuff… It’s something you gotta come to the conclusion on someday but… Me… Beat and Rhyme… Hell, even JOSHUA I think and… Fuck, Eri could take home the prize on this… You mean so god damn much to us.”

        He stares forth intently at her face even if her eyes are tilted away from him, “Kind of hard to be unloveable when a small hoard of people would willingly kill a man for you.”

               they won’t ever be close.  it isn’t something he’s ever expected , not something he wants either , necessarily , the thought of being best buddies with shiki not unappealing , but not at the top of his to - do list  —  still , he understands the pros that come with being ‘ friendly ’ with neku’s friends , particularly shiki  —  his entry fee , importance astronomical  &  thus …  here they are.  it’s alright that she is nervous around him , so long as she plays along.

     HELLO, SWEET CHILDREN.

     So, to start things off, I want to explain the picture above. I was originally gonna go with another image for the promo because I felt you guys might like the #Aesthetics of it. But as I was looking through my caps of episode 18 of The Final Act, I saw this one and thought, ‘this is perfect.’ So here we go for the explanation (from right to left)!! Sota (the little sparkling kid at the door) represents my lovely followers stumbling onto this blog and deciding ‘hey, yeah I think I’ll follow them’ and clicking that follow button. Inuyasha here represents my feelings for my followers, red for my passionate love and white for the Purity of that love tbh. And then there’s Kagome, who represents me. And who is violently smashing Inuyasha (aka my feelings) into the floor and trying to keep #Cool in front of everyone.

     But the image aside, I’m absolutely floored. As of today, it’s been six months since this blog opened for business. And, boy, has it been a fun six months! I was nervous af when I made this blog because I’d only watched like….about 80 episodes of the anime and still knew nothing about what my children were going to endure for the rest of it. It also didn’t help that I made and set up the blog at like 4 a.m. But I knew at least one person in the fandom so I was going to try and Make It. And here we are six months later! Still a giant meme who loves Kagome and a large part of why I love being here and writing on this blog is because I follow some pretty amazing people. You all are so nice and funny and I hope we’re mutuals until the end of time.

okay. listen up. we are in some rocky political times and i have some things to say.

i am a white, cis female––––but i am jewish. and threats have started hitting a little too close to home. as in the Jewish Community Center five minutes down the road from my house was threatened yesterday. the entire building was shut down––––old ladies and children in daycare had to be evacuated.

i live right near Philadelphia, and 100 headstones were toppled the other day. these threats are real and they’re not going away any time soon.

but right now, i will not tolerate any anti-semitism on my dash or even near me. if you make holocaust jokes or mock jewish stereotypes––––unfollow me before i block you. if you have the audacity to make fun of the struggles of a people who have been persecuted for nearly five thousand years, then get the fuck away from me.

if you mock minorities or muslims or anyone not like you, get the fuck out of here. you are contributing to the rhetoric of hate and feeding the reasons why these attacks happen.

our JCC is less than a quarter of a mile from a high school. half the students walk from the school to the gym in the JCC after school. we have been targeted by groups like the westboro baptist church in the past and this isn’t getting any easier.

so if you’re an asshole who even thinks about shitting on other people’s cultures–––––fuck you.

“Look? I dunno. I’ve never really thought about fashion before…” Sora couldn’t help, but frown in thought, “I like baggy stuff t’ be honest. Loose fitting clothes kinda gets ‘n the way of fighting though… but I’ve learned t’ roll with it. Havin’ weight around the shoulders kinda balances me out. Since you’re the expert outta t’ two of us, I’ll trust your judgement.” He’ll just gently sweep his hands around his shoulders at that. The mention of heading towards 104 just has him canting his head the the side to let her lead the way.
