ive been seeing a lot of enderman / avian hybrid derlord headcannons, and some people pointed out my pre-KIY derlord design is reminiscent of an enderman, so it got me thinking,,,,,,

take this with the context that minecraft is real and like, these two *are* their minecraft avatars, yknow? shrugs

So. Derlord had two eyes before the KIY encounter. He has one eye now with a scar across his eye. He has talons.

Did he. Did he try to gouge his eye out to stop seeing everything orrrrr

random headcannons and design notes below:

Big fan of them being called a brains and brawn duo

Avery is skilled at PVP and has good reflexes, overall very courageous and headstrong. I dont like the notion that he's completely clueless or stupid, I imagine he's just impulsive and acts/speaks before fully thinking things through

Derlord, as we know, is very knowledgeable and observant. I imagine he's okay at combat, definitely knows alot of strategies but executing them is a different story. (Knowledge doesn't equal experience lol). Can't land a water bucket clutch for shit probably

Buff Avery propaganda

Derlord's pupils can dilate

Avery's knuckles are bruised from punching through the netherite block (and probably from combat/pvp in general)

Derlord's eyes were purple before their first encounter with the KIY

I looove drawing armor, so ofc I drew all the layers for Der's design

Derlord uses their own feathers as quills
