My take on ‘Maneki Neko’ - Japanese lucky cats. (Available as stickers here!)

I’ve loved these funny little cat statues since I was little and own about a dozen of them. Their different colors represent different kinds of fortune - for example, pink lucky cats bring love and good relationships, while gold lucky cats are all about the cash money. The symbols on their coins say “ten million ryo” aka “a ridiculous amount of money”.

@freedomforwhales the first and third pictures are lab/shepherd mixes and the second one is a shepherd/ridgeback mix. All three of them look like your girl. She might be a mix of shepherd/ridgeback.

Does anyone have any guesses as to what breeds Olive resembles the most? A couple of people have said she looks like a pit bull mix, but honestly I can see her as being a mix of something else that just sort of resembles the pit bull stereotypical appearance. I personally don’t think she looks much like one.

She’s about 45 pounds too, I know it’s hard to tell how big she is in photos.

@freedomforwhales I really do believe that she is a German Shepherd/Lab mix. She resembles both breeds, I don't see Pit in her at all. Btw, she's completely adorable!
