Daniel was the driver DIRECTLY behind Max and Lewis. Everyone was allowed to overtake him. He was told he wasn't allowed to overtake. Look at how many hoops they had to jump through to give Max that win.

Honestly I don’t know what to say that hasn’t been said already. This is a disgrace to the sport, and I am honestly enraged on Lewis’s behalf because he did everything he had to do and he still got fucked over at the last second because they simply didn’t want him to win. For me, this championship doesn’t mean anything, and if I was the other driver I would be embarrassed to celebrate.
It is very telling, though, that the only way they can stop Lewis is by cheating. That says more about his greatness than it will ever say about theirs.
I love this fandom – I can be away for months yet come back to an extremely satisfactory amount of factual slander regarding this dumb sport that runs my serotonin receptors :)
